Learning that if I follow the guidelines, the weight is going to come off. I'm down 3 pounds already for the week, 16.5 total in December. My official weekly weigh-in day is on the 25th. I don't really need to over-think things. I'm getting to the stage, though, where I really want some phase 2 foods (puree/soft food) - which I move on to on Christmas day (yay me)! I'm fantasizing about cottage cheese w/salsa, hummus, scrambled eggs, egg salad, tuna salad, blended soups, real smoothies instea...

I seriously almost dug a fingerful of peanut butter from the jar last night - no lie... Took every bit of strength not to. I'm Day 15...

I've weighed the same for the last 3 days... Going to try to get in 64 oz water/liquids today. SO hard to do only 12 days out.

Surgery date scheduled!!! It's official, I'll be sleeved on Dec. 4th, 2013! I'll be 6 weeks out by my 42nd birthday on 1/15! Happy Xmas and birthday to me!!!

I am SO IMPATIENT! I got approved on Friday, and now I'm waiting for the Dr. office to call me to schedule my pre-ops, then set a surgery date. I just want the surgery date first and then I'll calm down and get my remaining pre-ops done... I NEED TO KNOW! Haha!

APPROVED BY INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First submission, and it was approved a week later. I called every day! Now just waiting for the hospital scheduler to call and set up my surgery date, and get my pre-op labs taken care of! SO EXCITED TO BE SLEEVED IN 2013!

I just got the call that my paperwork was submitted to insurance today!!! The waiting game begins... My coordinator says that they usually wait 7 business days before they follow up with insurance so I'm on pins and needles. That will be Nov. 1st. You can bet though, that I'll be calling my insurance on Monday just to make sure they got it! I'm not patient!!!

Initial Consult, NUT class went well on Tuesday! Now Dr. session and psych eval tomorrow, then Dr. can send off my letter to insurance for approval! Praying no 6 month supervised diet!!!!
