It could be the extra cals from the drinks. Try cutting them out for a few weeks and see if the weight starts dropping again.

And your point is? I am pretty sure that the deadly chinese dog products weren't up to the US dog products standards either. Her point is valid.

Some people do waist training by wearing corsets. Read about it, haven't tried it myself.

Once you are fully healed, you will eat out and enjoy special meals and foods. Not in huge quantities. You may not be ready for this surgery now. That's okay but just be honest with yourself either way.

Having the poop issues again

The smooth move can cause cramping, so just be aware that's a possibility. I didn't like it at all, but there are some who swear by it. -

Great news! I used Dr Nicholson myself, he is an excellent surgeon and also very nice. -
ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL FINANCING DOCTORS IN THE UNITED STATES....
woo woo replied to BackToBeautiful's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I believe Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Kim (different practices, both in Dallas area) do it. I think they charge around 3k for the out of pocket portion. -
Honestly, it's not that bad and your mom is right. You look nice and slim in the suit. I'm glad you decided to go for it!

Picky Eater and almost borderline anorexic
woo woo replied to Keyo's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm just not sure what you are asking? Is it that you are looking for meal ideas or ... ? By the way I didn't see anyone brushing you off or criticizing you here. -
Margaritas are extremely high in calories. If they offer a skinny or low calorie version that would be better. I drink prosecco. Yes it is somewhat bubbly but I let the bubbles die down some. You can get a whole glass for 50 calories. I ran this by my surgeon last week and he said I'm good to go with that as my alcohol choice.

I wish I knew how to quit you, (fill in the blank)!

I'm never quitting cheese! -
Using a Protein shake as a Meal Replacement is pretty effective. After about three days it gets much easier. Hang in there! Eye on the prize, you can do this

In theory the ricotta bake sounded great, but it grossed me out in reality. Probably the only thing that ever made me feel a little sick.

Tylenol makes an adult liquid. Much better than the sugary children's version. -
Non-Morphine Pain Meds....concerns
woo woo replied to Mrs. Reid's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Liquid vicodin. I only took for 3 days and switched to adult liquid tylenol. No problems at all. -
I had that problem too. As soon as I switched from the narcotic to liquid Tylenol (about day 3) it went away.

I don't think anyone has mentioned using a Veggetti to make zucchini Pasta. Serve with any sauce and Protein. I've had it with meat sauce and with sauce and meatballs. It's a really good pasta substitute! After using the slicer you just blanch in Water, drain and press lightly with paper towel and serve with your sauce. Eta: The Veggetti costs less than 15 dollars and is available at CVS, Walmart, etc.

Why is it important to eat after dinner
woo woo replied to jaysleever's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was told by my doctor to specifically eat Snacks and NOT just 3 meals a day. This sounds like your own personal issue here. -
I'm already sleeved but am wondering about someone I know -- how low are the self pay US docs willing to go with the bmi? Is it basically at least 30?

Day 4 should be the worst, things seemed to start improving each day from day 5 for me.

Having the poop issues again
woo woo replied to Karess Haivala's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I ended up having to start milk of magnesia (MOM) a couple times a week. Works great and has provided relief and some normalcy.
