  1. Drink Metamucil every day. It's the only thing that is safe to take long term. It just adds a lot of fiber to your system. I mix it up in crystal lite and drink it as fast as I can. It does not taste bad, it just gets thick if you don't drink it fast. It works wonders if you drink it every day. I buy the unflavored Walmart brand. There is the brand name one, but I think it's orange flavored.

I didn't think it was allowed for sleevers

  2. I am and have been very constipated despite taking a woman's laxative daily. I thought at first it is due to all of the Calcium I take, then they checked my thyroid (it was normal) so I was thinking I am going to have to live with this. This can't be normal, so I began researching, reading about diverticulitis, and it talks about possible pain in the left side (which I have occasionally) and it says they look at the RBC to see if it is low (which is a sign of to few red blood cells possibly bleeding in the colon ~ which when they checked my thyroid it was low) damn internet allowing me access to all of this information.

Anyone have problems with this? I am 20 months out.

  3. are you trying to get it approved by insurance? If you haven't been to a doctor in 5 years it may cause you issues. you need to contact your insurance and see what the factors are regarding approval of Bariatric Surgery. If you are not going thru insurance then it shouldn't matter.

  4. I have scheduled a consultation for a panniculectomy. I am hoping that my insurance will cover it by deeming it medically necessary, but the one big hiccup I am seeing is that I do not run to the doctor every time I have a rash or a yeast infection in my belly button, I tend to take care of it on my own so I may not qualify. My insurance goes on to say they will deem it medically necessary if it would be adjunct to another necessary procedure for improved surgical access or healing, thinking I will visit the gyno at the same time and see if I can get a bladder lift or hysterectomy.

  5. with my sleeve I did experience it, nothing will stop it but Biotin has helped a lot. There was a period there that I couldn't even color it as it would just frizzy up, and break off, I am not going to lie I cried many days, I babied my hair up'd my Biotin, started taking collagen, and pre-natal's, and used oil's and special shampoo/conditioners to bring it back from the dead. I began this last year and I am going to get it colored again in two weeks now that it appears healthy
