some days I don't consume 1000 calories, but myfitnesspal doesn't prevent me from using it.

Awesome, I get so tired of people doing #4, 7, & how soon can I have alcohol. I am like what? I never plan to let any of those things cross my lips again.

I heard chap stick is a big one and a pillow too
pillow for ride home! hydrate as late as possible.
happy re-birthday!
Happy re-birthday, that is cute I like that
I got in trouble for bringing my own chap stick, my hospital said it is contra band and you have to use what they provide

I am not constipated now, I took that nasty clear liquid yesterday around 3 pm and this morning at 5:30 it began to work, now I will followup with some Metamucil daily.
-
Thanks I already take a probiotic daily.

Drink Metamucil every day. It's the only thing that is safe to take long term. It just adds a lot of fiber to your system. I mix it up in crystal lite and drink it as fast as I can. It does not taste bad, it just gets thick if you don't drink it fast. It works wonders if you drink it every day. I buy the unflavored Walmart brand. There is the brand name one, but I think it's orange flavored.
I didn't think it was allowed for sleevers

I am and have been very constipated despite taking a woman's laxative daily. I thought at first it is due to all of the Calcium I take, then they checked my thyroid (it was normal) so I was thinking I am going to have to live with this. This can't be normal, so I began researching, reading about diverticulitis, and it talks about possible pain in the left side (which I have occasionally) and it says they look at the RBC to see if it is low (which is a sign of to few red blood cells possibly bleeding in the colon ~ which when they checked my thyroid it was low) damn internet allowing me access to all of this information.
Anyone have problems with this? I am 20 months out.
-
This is normal if you look thru some of the other threads you will see many people go thru it due to the body catching up and hormone changes.

Looks like Chuck is no longer a member of the site. Glad to see him gone.
and with no pictures I don't believe him

best bet is to call them and ask them if there are exclusions to you plan as each employer plan is different
-
are you trying to get it approved by insurance? If you haven't been to a doctor in 5 years it may cause you issues. you need to contact your insurance and see what the factors are regarding approval of Bariatric Surgery. If you are not going thru insurance then it shouldn't matter.
-
This is very interesting, I would think the costs are substantially less too
-
I agree and hormonal changes can cause it, lol, I have my aunt flo visit prior to the surgery but guess what she came and visited right after surgery and stayed for a month.

I have scheduled a consultation for a panniculectomy. I am hoping that my insurance will cover it by deeming it medically necessary, but the one big hiccup I am seeing is that I do not run to the doctor every time I have a rash or a yeast infection in my belly button, I tend to take care of it on my own so I may not qualify. My insurance goes on to say they will deem it medically necessary if it would be adjunct to another necessary procedure for improved surgical access or healing, thinking I will visit the gyno at the same time and see if I can get a bladder lift or hysterectomy.

with my sleeve I did experience it, nothing will stop it but Biotin has helped a lot. There was a period there that I couldn't even color it as it would just frizzy up, and break off, I am not going to lie I cried many days, I babied my hair up'd my Biotin, started taking collagen, and pre-natal's, and used oil's and special shampoo/conditioners to bring it back from the dead. I began this last year and I am going to get it colored again in two weeks now that it appears healthy

I would say yes, instead of shopping from older woman's type clothes in the big section I can now go into any store and find clothing so I tend to wear age appropriate but more trendy

I am going to try that as well, as I had sleeve surgery but feel tired and run down my blood panel came back okay except showing low RBC

did you ask what is covered with your plan regarding Bariatric Surgery? If so and the person you spoke with didn't know I would ask to speak to someone that might know.
