  1. @ Beni, I think I will hold off until 2/2 then if no change I will go in. I've lost even a few inches in the last week so I'm sure my stall will be over soon. I've been good with my water and vitamins, I probably need to slow a bit on the starch, so I will eliminate them from my diet completely even though I am allowed them.
  2. So this post will probably be long but I need to say it. I'm at stalled for 21 days now, the same 2-5 pounds I bounce. I've been extremely stressed and depressed by it. I admit I haven't been working out like I should and I am going to get on the ball this Monday. Despite that I wanted to post about the good things that have happened to me in the last 16 weeks. I've lost 45lbs, which is the most I've lost ever attempting any weight loss regimes. I've gone from 45 bmi to 37 bmi. I've gone from hips of 54 inches to hips of 46 inches. I've gone from a 40 inch waist to an 34 inch waist. My knees have stopped hurting. This will be the first spring in 10+ years that I'm not heavier than I was in the beginning of the winter. I've found my knee caps, I've found my collar bone. The shirts I have jow are way too big for me but I still haven't had the courage to part with them. My weight is lower than its ever been prior to my 3 pregnancies. I needed to look at the positives instead of focusing on the scale not moving. I think I feel better knowing I've come further than I ever have before. I hope I continue this marathon because I certainly know now that it's definitely not a sprint. Here are some photos of my progress.
  3. Stuck at 206 for the last 12 days. I feel like I'm never going to be under 200lbs. 15 week and still over 200. I'm so sad and disappointed right now.
  4. Happy new years folks! I've been mia but doing well. It seems that the times I feel like I look thinner, I actually am thinner. I've lost a total of 7" off my hips in 3 months. I went to my 3 month post op on the 2nd and I was down to 208, with clothing obviously, so about 206 without. My scale broke so it's been a struggle because I'm not daily weighing like I used to do. I'm going to have to buy one this weekend. Hoping to be in wonderland by the middle of the month. Bronx hoping you start feeling better soon. Layknee, hoping you break your stall soon and hoping by April your troubles go away. Beni, I've had some troubles with food here and there, I got stuck with chicken and it all came back up. The most painful 2 hours I've had yet. The weird thing was, the chicken was shredded so it wasn't tough at all, Maybe eating too fast.
  5. my longest stall was 12 days.
  6. My goal is single digit, so an 8 would be nice. I have more of a weight one than size, I want to be in between 135-150,so whatever size that happens to be is what it is!
  7. I'm a revision patient. I had my surgery October of this year. It will be 3 months come January. I am 8 pounds away from being under 200lbs, I never thought I would get this far so soon. I now feel confident that I will get to my goal weight! One day, one step at a time.
  8. I'm going to take family pictures after New Years. I haven't taken any in 4 years. It's bad. Now I have to go shopping to find color coordinating things for the 5 of us. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time.
  9. Omg girls and boys. I'm loving my transformation right now. I just tried on 2 shirts I bought over the summer in anticipation of wearing them after the surgery. The pink one is a 15/17 in juniors, and the grey one is a 11/13 in juniors. For some reason the pink one is tighter in the chest than the grey one but that's not the point. I can fit them, they are tighter than I normally wear but I'm not stretching them out sucking in my belly to do it. I now know what @@Beni was talking about, that wearing clothing that fits makes you look so much better. I just made a collage about then and now! I can totally see the changes.
  10. I was a 22/24 at the time. The 22 were getting tight and the 24 was fitting just right the way I like it, no stomach bulges. I was merely curious at how long it would take me to get to a 14. I never expected to get there so soon. I'm short 5'2" and weigh in at 208 give or take a Pound in either direction. I was hoping to be under 200 by my 3 month visit. I don't think that will happen as I have a week left. Although I have come close. I expect to lose it by the second or third week in January. I saw this super good chart for those of us who were between 250-300 lbs. I fit right into the category so I can't be too upset. I started this journey at 250 lbs, it is great being so close to onederland. Also I found a collarbone, yay!
  11. So I tried on a size 14 and they fit! Plus this morning I washed my back. I couldn't reach all the way up until I realized it today. That was awesome.
  12. Happy Holidays folks. Nothing new here besides I tried on my sister's pair of pants they were a size 14 and they fit, buttoned and zipped! I have a double stomach going on in them but they weren't super tight and I could bend over! 5 pant sizes gone, for ever! Some how I broke my scale, trying to clean up the house and I won't be able to weight myself until the 2nd. So hopefully I get down some more whole I'm not stressing over it.
  13. Hersey kisses are great for a one bite fix.
  14. I've lost a good 3-4 inches off my bust. I think that I'm mostly losing it from my back fat. I still fit into my cups, for now.
  15. @@Beni you're too kind. I can't notice a waist yet, then again we can't see what everyone else sees yet. I'm sure I will see it soon.
  16. So my body must have gotten sick of me whining because I stepped on the scale this afternoon(not my usual time) and am down 2lbs 2oz putting me under 210. This picture is for Beni, this is a men's shirt but it's a size Large! Can't beat a size large no matter which side it comes from right? I bought this shirt over the summer when the TMNT came out, it was tight then it's pretty loose now.
  17. Amylynns, I was with my husband for 7 years before we got married. It was understandable because we met so young, I was 17. After a while, I told him this is it, we are getting married. He couldn't object at that time. We married when I was 26.
  18. I know, I know we aren't supposed to compare each other but dang, it's freaking hard to not compare. It's human nature to compare. I just feel like it will take me forever to get there. It's probably because I haven't seen under 200 lbs since 2002 and I'm so ready to be there. 30 lbs is no joke, I just wished I had a more consistent rate of loss and not a Pound or 4 here then a whole 10-12 days of nothing.
  19. Finally I have a surgery date buddy! Good luck on your loss as well!
  20. I'm going to whine for a minute. I feel like I'm losing so slow, I've only lost a Pound this week, sigh. I get my vitamins and my required protein in, I've started exercise. I feel defeated, like I won't even get to my goal weight even in a year.
  21. I fell flat on my side about a week out from surgery. I was concerned too, my nurse told me as long as it isn't super sore or leaking then I'm okay. I haven't had any problems since, and I've fallen down some stairs a few weeks ago. I'm 9 week post op.
  22. When I look in the mirror I still see the first pic. I don't believe that is me in the second pic. The first pic was last spring at 250 lbs, the 2nd pic is last week. My scrub pants fall off of me now but I still have 14 lbs before I get new ones.
  23. Has anyone actually tried it? Im thinking about it now.
  24. I find that if I eat dense food I eat far less than mushy foods. So I can eat 3/4C of soup or chili, but can only eat 1 egg which is about 1/4C at a time.
