  1. In a word- yes. My Dr. Doesn't want us to eat soup after we move out of the liquid phase. Says it's just like eating and drinking at the same time. But if your dr. Says it's okay I would just eat the Protein out of it. My doc has a few things that are different, though. Ex. We are told to drink a cup or so of liquid up to 5 min.before we eat and then wait the standard 30 min after. Don't know if this is helpful or not but as long as you're following your doc's program you will do just fine.
  2. What a terrific achievement. As a relative newbie I'm going to print your post and keep it handy for when I need reminding of how the successful folks do it. Thanks for taking the time to put it out here.
  3. One my nut gave me was to mix two tablespoons of pb with one tablespoon vanilla Greek yogurt. Not to be eaten everyday as too caloric. But tasted really good.
  4. I have the sleeve and was told to get one that said "no blind gastro nasal tubes" on it as they could puncture our sleeves. Also I'm diabetic so that's on there even though I'm off all meds for it.
  5. I eat on a plan. Three 3 oz meals and two protein snacks a day. The timing varies according to my schedule for the day I do it this way because after 60 years of dieting and failing my idea of when I am hungry is so screwed up that I can't possibly rely on it to tell me when and how much to eat. I am almost three months out and down 52 lbs. so will continue to do it this way. I find recording everything very helpful. It reminds me to eat clean and carefully.
