  1. Miralax daily in one of your shakes.
  2. Deja vu all over again is a phrase attributed to Yogi Berra when he witnessed Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hit back-to-back home runs. Amandaraeleo beat me to it.
  3. Walk, walk, walk, and ask for a refill on the pain meds? That's what I would do. I am pre-op, but I plan to just walk around inside my house in 10 min. increments as often as I can. I also have no problem with requesting a refill on pain meds. I have had 3 spinal surgeries in the past and have had to take plenty of pain meds.
  4. I think I'm going to try that with homemade taco seasoning, thanks!
  5. Maybe there are some recipes on the PB2 website?
  6. I've never heard of this "space for Jesus". At first I though it said "space for jeans". How about a spooning hug? Hubby can stand behind you and hug you around your shoulders.
  7. Can you mix some of that Unjury unflavored protein powder in something like pudding or chicken broth?
  8. I had my first appointment with the surgeon today. Tomorrow is my appointment with the NUT, and 10/28 is my appointment with the psychologist.
  9. Bless his heart! He just loves you and wants the best for you. I wish I still had my mom or dad alive to worry about me.
  10. Very glad you did so well and I am looking forward to your next post!
  11. I just got some free samples of that. Is it ok for pre-op?
  12. Congrats! I can't wait for my date.
  13. I like Rosarita...don't have a Trader Joe's close by.
  14. Maybe you should post this in the 'Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery' section of this forum. I think more people would be able to respond there.
  15. Good luck, Stacy! I just had my first appointment with my surgeon and have already scheduled appointments for the psychological evaluation and the NUT. I am excited, but not nervous.
  16. I'm living in Houston now and will be getting sleeved here, but I am moving back to Little Rock early next year...can't wait!
  17. I like your videos, joatsaint. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
  18. I just got back from my first visit to the surgeon and after looking at my patient info he said I was a good candidate for the sleeve. He did not even mention any other options. I already have made my appointments with the psychologist and the NUT so I am on my way!
  19. Great job! The difference in your back is amazing. How tall are you?
  20. I remember when I had back surgery and my husband brought our son to the hospital to see me. The first thing he said was "Mommy, is that pee in that bag hanging from the bed?"
  21. Ooh...that sounds right up my alley!
  22. I'm 59 and have my first appointment with my surgeon tomorrow. I'll let you know!
