    Help...having regrets

Thank you everyone!! I took every single word of advice to heart. I feel so much better now. First thing in the morning I'm gonna call and make an appointment to see the Psyc. I'm gonna track my food intake and on Thurs I'll see the NUT. As for today, I can not stress how much better I feel. It's like getting a new pair of seeing glasses. Thank you guys so much and God bless you on your journey
  2. I got sleeved 9/11/2013. In that time I've only lost 20lbs. I actually seem the scale go up three pounds. I had the lap band in 2006 and it was taken out the same time I was sleeved. I'm still a little nauseous, constantly, i have a bad taste in my mouthand I still can't recognize my full feeling as of yet and it had been five weeks out. I'm now having a little regret about getting sleeved. I know it was for the best because I was gaining about 7 pounds month. I was binging a lot. But I find myself eating the top off the pizza not because I'm hungry but because I'm frustrated. I wont see the murse until layer this week, im a little embarresed to speak to the psy on staff. fo upu reslly think psy really help or is there a self help book you can recommend. Thanks for your reply in advance.
  3. I had the band done in 2006. I was sleeved on 9/11/2013. My surgeon did it all in one shot. He took out the band and sleeved me at the same time. He said it was difficult to remove the port but of course he got it. The surgery took 30 minutes longer because of this. Now as for the pain, OMG. I had an adverse reaction to the morphine (caused me to vomit). I stayed four days in the hospital due to the fact I was not using the bathroom on my own, throwing up,nausea and a low grade fever. I begged to go home once I was able to use the bathroom myself and I was walking ten mins a day two times a day. With that being said they sent me home with a firm dos and don'ts list and I promised my first born. They gave me pain killers for five days. After that OMG. I used children's liquid pain killer. Bottom line I was in pain for about three weeks. After the fourth week, I was able to get out of bed without much pain. All of the pain is and was by the port sight. Hope I helped. I'm feeling a lot better and I have no regrets just was sad of about two weeks because of the pain
