Under 180Lbs And Getting Sleeved, Anyone Else?
cpeycke replied to Cuaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So glad I found this forum, I am also starting at about 190-195. I am 5 ft 3 in. I did not have a band prior, or any health factors (yet). I have only been over weight 5 years I am just trying to prevent the future and not get any bigger. Glad I'm not the only one trying to be proactive. Although my goal weight is about 60+ lbs I feel I cant do that On me own. Anyway I hope I'm not to slow a looser that's why I usually cant stick with diet and exercise:( anyone out there my weight an loose relatively quick!? -

I'm going 10/22/13, by myself, but feel confident. I also have been working with Cristy. Did you get a date or still contemplating? -
Do family & friends think you're doing the right thing?
cpeycke replied to Mid West's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel similar family mainly thinks its crazy and co workers too, now I see why people don't want to tell people. At first I was like "I don't care what they think", now I'm kind of wishing I never told anyone.... Its odd how people react to a very common procedure that will help improve someone physical and mental health. -
I'm curious to find someone with a very close starting weight as me to see how it worked for them. I am 190-195 and having my surgery 10/22/13. I was curious how much weight I should plan to loose, I know it varies but I'm hoping since I am doing this now before I get any bigger I can really get the results I want (130-140), but am scared because that is more then the average 50-60% of excess weight that you should plan to loose. I just looking for someone who had surgery with a starting weight under 200 and their input and experience. Thanks!!!

From what I read you can drink Decaf because it will not cause the dehydration.
