  1. Hi here has had single incision? Is it as painful as they say and as invisible as they claim?? I'm looking at Dr Diez at MBC in Tijuana??

    Single incision

Yeah I'm schedualed with Dr. V right now for Tuesday, Diez just had a last minute opening. I decided to stick with Dr. V. Less risk less money less pain. I wondered the same thing why not do many docs do it.. I need to get right back to work and I'm going alone to Mexico don't need anymore stress. How was Dr. V??

    Re: CLEAR LIQUID DIET (pre-op)

I'm on a 3 day clear liquid in Mexico and can have 100% whey protein with water or skim milk.. I'm allowed skim mild right post op to I believe..
  4. Looking for a buddy for TJ, Mexico. Dr. Valenzula, Midoctor. Anyone going to be there I get to the Marriot Monday the 21st, Surgery the 22nd...
  5. Just curious who feels weird just doing a post op the morning of surgery? I mean u see what a pain is to go through insurance in the states but also worried what they might need to know something about you and don't in Mexico? Hard to do the research all on your own, but grateful it's not taking over your life like with surgeon, nutritionist, psychological ect. Wish there could just be a middle ground?
  6. Well I already have my date for a regular sleeve but an almost kicking myself for not spending the extra money on single incision. I'm curious peoples thoughts and experiences with the SCARS. I'm still somewhat young and only need to loose like 60 lbs so am still hoping one day to wear a bikini (possibly) and other nice clothes and don't want to feel like the scars are going to stop me. How are your scars now? Both single incision vs regular? I thought I was comfortable enough to think the scars will be almost non visible but now I am worried. Also has anyone heard that single incision is more risky? I heard even some Dr's in Mexico don't do it because of the risk that's what made me just say screw it to begin with (plus the money of course). Let me know what you think guys! Thanks!!

  9. 51 lbs in 2.5 month I can only dream of that outcome! Conrgrats! everyone stalls here and there this is normal. Just keep at it and don't get discouraged you'll be loosing again in no time.
  10. Go to forums, choose one that relates to your topic (example: Pre-Op) once you see the list of recent topics and at the top left corner it will say start a new topic an you can start one there Hope that helped, good luck.

  15. I think it is very common to stall (from other stuff I had read) around WK 2 and it can last multiple WK's just hang in there it will come. Defiantly don't weight every day...

    7 day post op

Congrats! Hoping I will be able to go back to work around then myself!
  18. After reading how SLOW some slow losers lose weight I am scared. I feel like that is why I failed at every other diet/exercise program! The results take too long!! I really hope that even though I am a lower BMI I can still be at GOAL in 6-9 months. I mean that's only like 10lbs a month and that what you should lose when you diet and exercise properly. I guess now I 'm questioning why I even did this for the same slow results:( I am still pre-op but have already paid everything so am going to go through with it I just hope I don't fail due to slow results, and screw it up!
  19. Thanks for the replies. I am an emotional eater so when I get discouraged or depressed I eat, I'm hoping with the hormone gone I can at least control that, and that should help.

    UGGGGGHHHHHH I am STUCK!

Yeah be sure to watch the fat content on all those items, also the carbs (since they do turn to sugar you know) Good luck, also could try counting the actual calories to see what you are taking in and hopefully its around 1000. Also hope your not drinking your calories
  21. Who knows with the government closure. I think you can pay more for express... Like a lot more and get it quick. If you google it u will see what I mean:) good luck!
  22. 20 days! Can't wait I'll be at Midoctor too:)
  23. Are you having it in the states? I don't believe there has to be a 40 BMI with self pay, even in the states. If your paying u just have to be obese I would think. I am way under that and getting it done self pay but in Mexico.
  24. Mr. Recycled This is the 2nd thread you have come and questioned someone's question. WTH is your problem? People can ask what they want and not have to have some smart ass remark and make them feel like its not a ligament question. If you don't like the thread or question don't respond please!
