  5. You look great. Awesome job!!
  6. I think she was referring to the stitches on your new sleeved pouch. I would say to early for that. Wait at least to 6 weeks and ask your surgeon for clearance. Better to be safe than sorry.
  7. I dreaded getting the sleep study done too, but the sleep techs are super nice and make you feel comfortable the whole time. Plus the room looked like a hotel room. Once they provided me the mask during the study, I was able to sleep non stop for 5 hours. My sleep apnea was so bad I needed to get a BIPAP machine. It wasn't hard to get used too. I feel great and not sluggish like I did before my machine. My wife and I have always thought I had sleep apnea because of my loud snoring and always being sluggish.

  16. Was it hard to get approved no, as long as your surgeon office provides all the needed information for approval. 1) Nutritionist consult and approval 2) Primary Doctor approval - (Lab results) 3) Psychologist consult and approval 4) Previous 3 -5 years weight loss history 5) Surgeons write up Approval cycle: Between 24 hours and 2 weeks, depends on your insurance case worker and if your surgeons office submitted all data. There have been many post on BCBS IL, you should looks up those previous threads for additional information.

  19. It's very important to remember that the sleeve is only an aide to help us loose weight...we also need to retrain our minds of what to eat along with adopting a exercise routine to help us achieve our ultimate goal of being healthy. If you continue your healthy living, you'll be able to keep off the weight.
