  1. MY TURN! Lol!

    Maybe you can help me...

Surgery weight was 280 and current is 248-250. My scale goes up and down 1-2lbs for some reason... I have a 800 calorie diet ( which I never meet) I workout 5 days a week average of about 409-600 calories (45 min Zumba/60 min walking).... I've lost 30-32lbs! Almost 6 weeks out :)

The question is why doesn't my scale move consistently? And if I burn 500 calories and intake only 600 my net is only really eating 100 calories worth.., us this bad? Good? That's the part I'm most confused with... I feel like I'm working my butt off scale moving inches definitely coming off... HELP PLEASE :)

  2. I think at some point we will all have a moment where we shouldn't have put something in our mouth... The great thing is that you have taken accountability for it and now shake it off and get up again... Today is a new day =) Don't worry so much on what happened or what you ate but how you learned from it. This is all a process and its going to be really hard at times yet other times we are going to not give a second thought. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

  3. Sleeved 8/27/13...weight loss 38#. Seem to be stalled last couple weeks with a loss of 3#. I am worried I am doing something wrong. I am only able to get in an average of 500-600 calories...50gm protein/ day. I have occasional nausea/ no vomiting/ but do have pressure & some pain in my chest after eating or drinking. I feel drastically tired and drained which is probably dehydration as my H2O intake is hanging around 25 oz/ day. I cannot seem to get the meals' date=' Protein drinks & Water all in. Help!![/quote']

I was told that total water consumption is part of the Protein Shakes, Soups, crystal light etc. maybe you can try having more shakes and broths... Try 100% juice just small sips maybe to take away nausea and give you a lift. Are you exercising?

  4. Maybe yo can tell me why some of people's post and the page post show up on my feeds. I have to keep saying hide them so they don't show.

You can see them on your newsfeed but nobody else can... I've checked with my husbands account and he can't see I'm part of the group :) hope this helps! However if some are not comfortable it's completely understandable...I just love all the great ideas and support :)

  5. Thank goodness I thought I was the only weirdo! I feel hungry every 2-3 hours! My stomach actually feels hungry... Honestly I hate that feeling it's weird but it's more bothersome now then it was before. I wish I didn't feel it as often :(

Not that you all are weird! Sorry!

  6. I'm 3 weeks post-op tomorrow' date=' and I think I'm feeling hunger.....I mean, what hunger is like now. It feels like I have a hole in my middle. Almost feels like I have to burp, but at the same time I feel hollow. Is this hunger? Has anyone else felt like this?[/quote']

Yes! Totally feel more hungry! I eat every 3-4 hours... I think our metabolism is totally kicking in :) just trying to stuck to healthier foods... I thought I was alone lol! My stomach feels empty like kinda uncomfortable?

  7. Sorry' date=' I forgot about not being able to see the tickers on the vst app. I also use my iPad, and if you go to the actual vst website the tickers show up. I love looking at everyone's tickers!

That is awesome your insurance covers a TT! Mine will only cover a panniculectomy I'm going to see how much extra it'll cost to do a TT at the same time. Hopefully I'll be able to afford it. I'd rather get them done at the same time.

    Here's my stats:

    5'5"

    Starting 268lbs 44.59bmi

    Day of surgery 260lbs

    Current 155lbs. 25.79bmi

    Goal 140lbs

    Date of surgery 11/16/2010

    [/quote']

What are tickers? And what is TT? Sorry I was just curious :)

  8. Sleeved on 8/26 and lost 12 lbs at 1 wk out. Haven't lost anything since and trying to be patient. Having a hard time getting all my fluids in. Starting to hate Water and shakes. Any suggestions on some sleeve approved drinks?

Hi! Yes I drink decaffeinated teas... Sweetened with stevia.... I also have a little creation of crystal lite lemonade with one packet strawberry Jay Robb Protein... It tastes so yummy! I even made Popsicles. It has 25 grams of Protein and tastes like sherbet....no joke! So I sip on that every other day :)
