    Why am i hungry?

I also had hunger and still do. I have lost over 100 LB in less than 12 months. What I notice is if you stick with protien like chicken, fish, beef etc it helps to keep you full after a few bites. After time you will see it is a lot of head hunger. When you have a nibble on some protien. It will stop you in your tracks.

    20 days post op

I hope you feel better. You poor thing. That is a lot to go through so quick after surgery. Hang in there. I hope your insurance is covering. For me it was another 4,000 out of pocket! Hope those pain meds make you feel better too. I also will send you good vibes for not having to go in for bypass. Keep your chin up. Sounds like you are and having positive thoughts and that really does help.

    20 days post op

Wow sorry to hear that. I had mine out 7 months post. Mine was easy and out same day. Hang in there. Was it emergency when you had it out or sceduled. 20 days post that is crazy. Usually it is from rapid weight loss. I wish you a speedy recovery. I don't even miss my gallbladder. Feel the same. I did wish I had it removed when I did my sleeve. It was a bummer to have surgery again 7 months out.... yuk....

    Weight gain

I agree with RJ. Hang in there and do not worry about stalls. It is your bodies own rythem of loosing. Only focus on the plan. I did not weigh myself for almost 3 months post. I just weighed at doctors office. You will see you body will lose then not lose and then lose. Before you know it you will be in skinny jeans:) Off topic RJ how are you doing.? I have been thinking of you and wondering about your last post. Are you feeling better?

    Sharp Pain in Right Side

Yes agreed. Call your doc right away. It sounds like gallbladder. I had mine removed 5 months post sleeve. I have heard of others having it that early. You don't want to end up in the ER. They can remove it liposcopic. If you end up in er it is an attack and it is open surgery and longer recovery. I am not trying to scare you. I'm not a doc but sounds like what I had. Super easy surgery and in and out same day. I was just bummed to have to have surgery again. I am fine now and no issues knock on wood.
  7. Congrates. Happy for you!

Not with sleeve but I had c section and I did.

    does sleeve have restriction?

    Yes but with protien.
  10. I had my gallbladder removed last feb. I dropped 100 pounds in 8 months. No issues now. Gallbladder surgery was way easier. I wish I had mine out with my sleeve surgery since I had a 3500 dollar deductable!

    Cold feet!

I am 10 months post sleeve surgery. Down 115.lbs. I started having issues with gallbladder at 8 months. I had it removed. I wish I had it removed same time as wls. I have heard that some doctors remove it. I think it is like 25 percent have issues after wls. I am fine after gallbladder removal. On vacation right now and having wine. I'm a light weight now.
  13. Wow that is just so crazy.. I can so relate. Glad you dropped 2 pounds.
  14. I think we are all differant. I was cured with the sleeve. I used to take 2 pills a day for it and now nothing. 11 months out.
  15. 1. Hair loss. This is very commen. There is a million posts on this. Mine started at 5 months and lasted till 9 months. It has stopped and now I am having regrowth. It will grow back. Take care of your hair by not brushing when wet. Get a soft brush. I limited my washing to 2 times a week during this period. I have long hair so I pulled it back a lot. Their is many people that took Biotin. I did not. 2.This should be looked at by your doctor. You don't want to have a stricture etc. 3. I actually have the same problem. My doc said the flinestones complete chewables are fine. I do have to still force myself daily. There is just something about them being yucky but we have to do it. 4. When I was at 4 months i ate about 600 calories a day. This is the normal to not be hungry. I now eat 1000 a day and was sleeved in July 2013.

    Cant pee?!

Yes I had this. They had to give me catheter of some kind. Basically just released the urine. Next morning I was fine but hated that feeling. Not the catheter part but not being able to pee by yourself.

    Weird belly button irritation :/

Agreed. I just had this right after my gallbladder surgery in feb. I went to my doc and he said soap and water and keep dry. It hurt and took about 3 weeks to fully go away.

    Losing Muscle....?

Are you lifting weights or any strength activities?
  24. You will get a date. You just have to hang in there. They just want to make sure you keep the no smoking because you have a risk of death and or infection when smoking especially right after surgery. I quite 3 months prior. Also there is a high complication risk of smoking AFTER you get the sleeve. I have to tell you I fell off the wagon BIG TIME. I was so upset that I did. I was 8 months out and all of a sudden I was drinking and smoking ever day. I had to get my butt off them and I have but it is not easy. Even had to do the AA thing. The cross addiction can be a real thing! I learned the hard way. With our small tummies we can get ulcers that can be a little more serious than the normal person with regular size stomachs. This is even far out. I thought it was just in the beggining but actually I have read a lot about it and can be a serious risk even way out. So I think they are truly watching out for you. Call your doc and tell him the research you did and that you totally understand the risk and that you have been clean and are ready for a life change. I wish you the best.

    When did weight loss stop?

I am 10 months and I am about at goal. I really slowed at 8 months. I think it depends on how close you are to goal. If you have more or less to loose this depends on the loss and how long. I averaged like 3-4 pounds for the last 2 months but like I said I am about 14 pounds from goal. My body just hold on to the last pounds like crazy. I even work out harder now etc. I figured it will be about a year out that I will be at goal this July.
