Brachioplasty Surgery
I honestly don't think the idea of no jiggle at all may be realistic. My arms are very toned through yoga, but I still have a little left. They just can't cut too close because of all the arteries and nerves. But toning will certainly help to a degree.Yeah I know there will be a little jiggle and I know they are definitely better than before. I just want them to be as toned as possible. Do you mind me asking what type of yoga poses and all that I can do? I've already done about 300 curls today with 4 lb weight. Lol That seems early to be doing that many curls so soon after surgery. Anyone use Dr Drielsma in Sydney
Hi I'm fast approaching plastic surgery and wanted to know if anyone had used Dr Drielsma in Sydney. I'm getting body lift, breast reduction and lift. Then my arms in a latter surgery. I'm pretty sold on him so far but would be interested in any feedback. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Forget hair loss problems....I have nail issues
I mix 3 leaves of Gelatin with 500ml Water and 1 full scoop of Fuzzy Navel Syntrax nectar. This makes 3 or 4 Jelly's. Not that I planned to use this to get longer stronger nails it was a nice side effect. I was trying something different with the Syntrax Nectar for a change. After a few weeks I noticed I had Long strong nails ! Crazy because my nails do NOT grow. That as the only change I made so it had to be the gelatin. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Australian Medicare / Private Insurance coverage for Plastic Surgery
I have been given these codes for plastic surgery 30177 for abdominal skin reduction and 30171 for Arms and Legs. Has anyone been approved by Medicare or their private Insurance for these surgeries since the beginning of 2016 because I believe that knew requirements were put in place in January making it harder for approval now. If you have can you tell me what your requirements were and how Long it took to be approved? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Finally on the other side.
Depends on what you mean by "recovery". Recommended time off work is 4-6 weeks. If you have muscle repair along with the tummy tuck (which you absolutely should for good results), there will be a good few days where you need help with everything, like just getting up and down. Close to two weeks before you can walk fully upright. 8-10 weeks of wearing compression garments 24/7. A good year or so for your lymphatic system to build new channels. I had numbness and phantom itching for about 2 years due to the nerve regeneration. And I'd say it was about 2 years for my scars to fade to the point they are now. I'm almost 5 years post-TT now, thought and I promise that it was well worth all the suffering! In regards to the phantom itching and numbness is it extreme or just annoying Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Holiday to Thailand 5 months after sleeve
" data-cite="Shell " data-ipsquote-timestamp="1462176329"> I'm sure it would be fine the variety of food is huge you can easily adapt your hotel will have great breakfast options to get your Protein in. Maybe take some protein powder in sachets and bars just as a back up incase you get caught short. Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok is amazing I myself have had surgery there not sleeve surgery but cosmetic surgery it has some of the best doctors and specialists all American board certified so any issues just go there. I would test the waters with rice if you plan to re incorporate it back to your diet before you eat it in Bangkok I've read a few people have issues with it take all your acid/reflux pills with you as there pharmacies are hard to communicate with at times. Sent from my iPhone Hi if you don't mind me asking about your cosmetic surgery can you tell me what you had? I'm looking at full body, breast and arms now that I have lost the weight. Also is there a surgeon there you would recommend ? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Image after plastics
After 2 1/2 yrs I still struggle with size perception, I can't look at a girl on the street and say to myself ok I'm that size. It's crazy I know I've lost over 111 pounds but I have no idea what that is when I try to compare. I'm hoping the problem will work itself out after plastics as the loose skin makes me feel bigger than I am. If anyone else is around 143 pounds and height is 5.3 I would love to see pictures of you. Depressed & Can't meet H20/Protein goals
Just fill up on the Protein Drink you can tolerate. Don't stress they don't expect you to meet all of your goals until you are back on food. Go easy on yourself, if you can go for a short walk getting up and going outside might lift a little of the depression. Hope you feel better Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Sugar substitute recommendations?
My surgeon made my Husband and I make a promise to never go back to any artificial sweeteners. We both lived on Diet Coke and sugar free products before surgery. ( wasn't working we both had over 100lb each to lose). He said that they trigger your appetite Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
