  1. I had 2 of the Marena for the body breast and arms as I had all of my surgeries within 2 weeks. You need the spare for when your washing the other one Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  2. Hi I'm 3 years out and it something you need used to. It's one of those side effects we forget to talk about. Some days it will make lots of noise and other days nothing. It is not because you are hungry Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  3. I feel for you, I've just had reconstructive surgery to remove mine. I just don't know that a procedure like that will give you the result your looking for. It can't magically remove that excess skin that is hanging and the reason it's hanging is because the elasticity of the skin is gone. Hopefully I'm wrong and someone might tell you differently. My advice is hang onto your money invest in some good compression garment so your cloths sit nicely. Then after you have maintained your weight loss for at least 12months visit a couple of surgeons with all your information about what went wrong with the last surgery and they may be able to come up with a solution to prevent the blood clots. You are doing a great job don't let the frustration of the extra skin slow you down. Good Luck Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. Hi I'm 8 weeks out from Body Lift and Bra Lift and 6 weeks out from Breast Lift / Reduction and Arm Lift. I've still got some swelling in my tummy and arms but Ive been really strict with wearing the compression garments so I'm hoping the swelling will settle down soon. I still have a small amount of loose skin at the TOP of my tummy that will need to be rectified in a few months but it's a million times better than it was. In regards to my belly button some days if it's hot it gets a bit red but no real problems. If it happens I just make sure I put some Betadine on it after my shower and dry it properly with a cool hair dryer. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  6. Go to some of the second hand stores and see what they have on offer. Pay less for something that may not fit for Long. Or alternatively what about stretchy tights and Long shirts. Or in warmer weather 3/4 tights and Long shirts. Once the shirt gets to big you can belt it for another look Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  7. Hi yes I've had the first surgery 2 weeks ago yesterday. I had the circumference body lift and the surgeon also did a bra lift at the same time because he didn't think I would be satisfied with the overall result. All has gone well I'm feeling good some of the electric shock feelings from the nerves but not to bad. I started to get itchy about 4 days ago after I shower and put the compression garments on, so I'm trying to deal with that. The surgeon is very happy with my healing so I'm back in hospital tomorrow for the Breast Lift / Breast reduction and the arm lift. We will be in Bangkok for another 2.5 weeks so that the surgeon can monitor my healing. I have to admit I haven't done much at all the last 2 weeks making sure that I don't have any complications. I'm very lucky that my Husband is here with me and has been doing everything I'm not sure I could go through both of the surgery's without him. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  17. Totally agree they will advice you what they can do at your current weight and what revision will be required when or if you get to your goal weight. They may suggest waiting but it should be up to you. I say go for it your unhappy and the change in your arms might be what you need to push you forward and motivate you to get to that next goal. Good Luck I hope keep us updated with what you do

  22. I'll let you know how it goes, it's been a huge decision. I have met with 2 surgeons and chose the more expensive because he came across as having a much better understanding of what I needed and explained very well how he was going to achieve it. That's not to say the other surgeon couldn't do an equally good job but in the end I chose who I felt was the right fit. Now I'll have to live with my decision and hope like crazy that it was the right one. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App I'll let you know how it goes, it's been a huge decision. 24. A 360 is a lower body lift. So you are cut and lifted around your whole lower body. It helps with your stomach, hips, bottom and outside thighs. I'm going to Bangkok to have a 360 body lift then 2-3 weeks latter breast reduction and lift and also arm lift. It's costing about 35,000 Aus which is about 26,000 US not sure what you would pay for it there Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
