    1st trip to Costco ... what should i get?

    I have learned not to buy a lot. Taste changes and you are unable to eat a lot, so I found I was wasting money I do keep a good supply of: Shrimp, tilapia fish, Protein shakes and Protein Bars, dannon light and fit yogurts, cheese sticks,cottage cheese and fruit cocktail light (no syrup) flavor packets for Water. I also stocked up canned soup like progress heart healthy, of light Soups with 80-100 calorie per serving. Always remember to focus on the items that are the highest in protein. I hope this helps. It was a big trial and error for me. I'm almost 3 months out. I didn't gain this weight overnight, ad will not lose overnight You will have some good weeks of weight loss, some bad weeks and some weeks with no loss. Just keep going.

    Vegetarian Menu

    I made a vegetable soup with cabbage, onions, bell peppers, carrots and celery, vegetable stock or you can use Water and season with salt, pepper and I like Ms Dash. Cook until veggies are tender. I buy the extra small shrimp in the bag 150-200 count and add those separately as I eat each meal. This way use get veggies and Protein. Enjoy

    Fish

    I usually cook tilapia fish. I buy them frozen and I buy the smaller fillets. Walmart carries them (each fillet about 3-4 oz) I use a non-stick skillet and add just a little I can't believe it's no butter 1/2 tablespoon, season with a little salt, or sometimes no salt because the butter has salt. Cook the fish for about 3 minutes each side. That's all. Quick and simple

    Can you still eat in restaurants?

    I order a side salad( just veggies) and shrimp cocktail, or broth based Soup and shrimp cocktail. Neither are too heavy and shrimp is high in protein

    I had VSG on 8/21/2013, I've lost 2 LBS. I think I am drinking to much daily. Typical day: 2 cups of tomato soup with skim milk added and unflavored protein. Make protein shake, with skim milk , 2 scopes of protein powder, 2 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt about 12-16 ozs. I have 2 sugar free Jello puddings. Water and diet v8 splash
