You are right, all of us have worked our tails off to find out and prepare ourselves as much as possible!!! Other people are just so naive!!! They think they hold all the answers!!!!! I know i over re-act when he takes her to wales and i also know, that if i was in adam mom's spot all those years ago i would totally do the same thing she did. its just me being silly. she did come home with lots of new clothes which is fab!! oh also adam came home and told me he' lost around 8lb which i'm so happy for him. How your family doing? i always seam to talk me, annafrancesca or adam so how are your's?? oh your grand-daughter send a big hug and a sloppy kiss Oh, I soooo love the big hug and the sloppy kiss!!! Right back at the little darlin'!!!! Honey, you have no clue what you have going for you!!! You are quite the special young lady!!!!!! My family is running all over God's creation! My husband works 12 hour days most of the time, my youngest works every day, and the oldest is out of town and complains constantly about wedding plans and tiny details that have gone sour!!!!! I have a beautiful new nephew, that I went to visit today, my mom has been ill and having undiagnosed lung problems, complicated with sarcoidosis (which took my gram at Easter time) and chest pains!! It has been pretty much a whirlwind!!! I get on here to calm down and feel normal, lol!!! Now, aren't you sorry you asked, lol???? Now, back to you and Adam and Annafrancesca!!! I am much better at helping and solving other people's problems than my own, lol!

Yes, I am going to see the chiro today!!! Doc said it was okay as of 1 week post-op!!! I was kind of surprised, being I will need to lay on my stomach, but he said it isn't a problem! I am healed nicely though and have been laying on my stomach for nearly a week anyhow! So I will let you know how it goes!!!! Thanks for the feedback!

Renee, sorry about your pet! I know that can be sooooo hard! They are so much a part of our families. The last dog we lost, my husband said he has gone to funerals for family members that weren't as hard. It is sad to say, but there are some relatives that you rarely see ... those animals are there day and night every day of the year and they love us unconditionally! My heart goes out to you! I pray that you will find peace with this situation. Phyllser, fever? Don't let it get out of hand. Did you have it in the hospital? I would definitely call in the morning and find out what they think. You just never know. Your body has been through quite a bit of trauma!!! Keep us posted! Lynette, sorry I missed you today! My hubby and I went to two Summerfest Festivals in our area today! Lots of fun! Lots of exercise! A little difficult with eating, but for breakfast hubby made me scrambled eggs w/cheese, then for lunch at one of the Festivals I had a barbeque pulled pork sandwich. I ate about half the meat and gave the whole bun and the other half to hubby. For Supper at at the next Festival, I had a pig-in-the-blanket, potato salad, and halushki. I at 3/4 of the pig, a spoon of potato salad, and two spoons of halushki. Hubby had his meal and the rest of mine! I am thinking he may be putting on some pounds, lol! Chimboree, Glad you are home and done with your testing! I was like that too w/my sleep study! Kept peaking to see if the red hue was still on and the camera red light!!! YIKES, doesn't make for a good nights sleep! All those wires and the gunk in your hair!!! I just loved walking out of the place w/ that stuff in my hair!!! I looked soooo lovely, lol! It's good my nurses didn't make me wait til they were done eating, because they were eating all night long!!! LOL I was by the nursing station and the lights were blaring and they had a "coffee shop talk" the entire night, lol! No one would have gotten anything!!! No, but seriously, they were very nice and helpful! :car:

I am amazed at how many of us have the same complications ... panic attacks, anxiety, depression ... I am definitely seeing a pattern here!!! WE are the people with the big hearts and all the compassion! We are here to keep the rest of society in line!!!! LOL:whoo:

Not necessarily as you describe, but definitely pressure and a floating sensation! A lot of shooters, as I referred to them, like pinges, especially after I ate or drank. Haven't felt that for a few days now, kind of forgot about it, lol! But I was on atenolol also for chest pain and palpitations, but was just taken off of it due to my blood pressure being too low!!! A little concerned about that too, because I definitely don't want the chest pain back! It's only been 2 days, so I guess I will find out! Hang in there and be sure not to overdo it!:car:

Yeah, does seem that way! No, I would be the last one to say not to follow your doc's orders!!! I wasn't aware that they gave you discharge instructions, some people didn't seem to get any!!! Not sure why that is either, but a difference in docs and facilities I suppose! Glad it is working well for you! Hope you are feeling better this evening!:car:

Ahh, Sunny, you are the sweetest!!!! And yes, you are right about all that!!! You should have been MY nurse, I'm always told that I am the "perfect" patient!!! Heaven knows, I have had my share of surgeries, but not sure what the "perfect" patient is, lol!!!!!

I guess, the uncaring quality can go both ways, patient or nurse/health professional! Just how I always have thought of it, now me, I am always afraid to ask for ANYTHING, because I don't want to be a PITA (pain-in-the-a**), as my husband calls it, lol!!!

Sunny, I am sure you are a wonderful and compassionate nurse!!! You have the spirit for it! Have you ever had a patient though that tested your last nerve???? I would think so, because some people are just unbelievable!!!!

Lindaa, My nurse said the reason for no caffeine is because caffeine can cause dehydration and a little is okay, but definitely shouldn't be too much, especially if you are having trouble getting your fluids in.

I haven't been crushing anything! I break the pills that are bigger, may not have to, but just in case. I just take one at a time! It takes me awhile, but I haven't had any problems and some of my multi Vitamins are huge capsules!!!!!:omg:
