I know what you are saying!!! Isn't it a different sensation? Not like it used to be!!! Just different! LOL
-
icybreeze, no, you are not losing your mind! I feel exactly the same way! I think it is because we don't have any restriction and thus, we aren't feeling the "true" feelings!

Caolin, Hey, I use a CPAP Machine. I know when I had my Sleep Study done and they put it on me, I thought there was no way I would use that thing! I experienced a lot of what you are saying about! However, I have used it for several years now and I can tell you that it really helps! Now, I am very comfortable with it. You have to play with the adjustments on the headpiece and all, but once you get that figured out, it really isn't so bad. I can sleep without, but I am always glad when I can get back home and use it again! I hope it works better for you! I do know there are different kinds and sizes of masks, perhaps yours is too big. Wouldn't hurt to ask! Also, once you start losing the head hunger takes a back seat! I try not to have any of the foods that "bother" me around and that seems to help! I think we will have bouts with that for a long time!!! Me personally, probably forever!!!!!

I did a search and this is what I found: Not sure, but might be helpful! seroma is a pocket of clear serous Fluid that sometimes develops in the body after surgery. When small blood vessels are ruptured, blood plasma can seep out; inflammation caused by dying injured cells also contributes to the fluid. Seromas are different from hematomas which contain red blood cells and from abscesses which contain pus and result from an infection. Seromas can sometimes be caused by a new type of partial-breast radiation therapy, as explained in a recent article in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics. Seromas can also sometimes be caused by injury such as when the initial swelling from a blow or fall does not fully subside. The remaining serous fluid causes a seroma that the body usually gradually absorbs over time (often taking many weeks); however, a knot of calcified tissue sometimes remains. Seroma is particularly common after mastectomy surgery for breast cancer and many women find that it makes their intitial recovery period more difficult. Some women need repeated visits to their doctor to have the seroma fluid drained. [1]

MsYackie, Congrats!!! Now, how awesome is that????? Good for you!
-
Also, did the patient have symptoms that eluded to this being the culprit?
-
Yes, I am curious also! Is there something that could have been done to prevent this? Was there something the patient did wrong? Or the physician? Or possibly nobody's fault? What causes this to happen?
-
I am sure that has to be removed or has been removed! Will that patient be able to have another lapband???
-
Marcy, sounds like you are doing great!!! My doc seems to be laid back on the diet too! Not a problem, I haven't had any problem with eating anything! Guess we are lucky, but I have to watch how much I eat, lol!
-
Jackie, Wonderful! So glad you are doing so well!!! Keep us posted!

Dini, Enjoy that baby!!!! She is such a blessing!!!

Ruby, Check back when you get back!!! You will be fine! I did exactly the same thing, the day before my surgery ... totally enjoyed the pool, but you will be back in by 2 weeks, so not too bad! Christy, sounds like you are plugging right along!!! Great, keep it up! Keep us posted on how things are going! I know schooling can be trying and stressful, but at least you are busy!!!

Lynette, what security program are you running? They usually have fixes built into them and when you go to the main page of those programs, they have tons of support sites!
-
Lynette, Go to start, accessories, system tools, and then click disk cleanup. When that is done do it again, but instead of disk cleanup, click disk defragmenter. You also can go to tools on your page and click internet options, Delete under browsing history and then hit delete all!!! Those all will clean up a lot of stuff from your computer and should help it run faster!!! These computers are a pain, I am still waiting to get my new computer fixed ... they brought a hard drive, but it seems to be the motherboard ... so now I have to wait for the parts to come in again and then schedule a time next week for installation!!! What a pain in the duppa!!!!!
-
Dini, No crying there, Cutie!!! Not good for the make-up or the complexion, lol!!!!
-
You know ... I have to say ... my Honey, never says anything negative to me about my weight or anything else!!! He is a real gem!!! I love him to pieces! He always makes me feel beautiful and loved!!! I really am not doing this for him, though I am sure he will reap the rewards, lol!!! I want to feel better for myself and feel good when we do have those special intimate times!! Right now, I don't like myself much and that does put a damper on those times! I am sure he would love to have a more responsive and confident partner!!! So in that respect, he will totatally LOVE IT!!!! :faint::confused:
-
Dini, I know isn't it awesome!!! I can't wait to be one HOT MAMA!!!! Whoa!!!! I know ... can you believe all of our FRIENDS just leave us high and dry and there we are, just waiting patiently, wanting to talk to ANYBODY and they totally ignore us, lol!!! It just isn't right, lol!!!!
-
Dini, I had that happen to me a few times too! I have it almost ready to send out and POOF ... just like that, gone!!! Makes me see stars!!!! LOL
-
Dini, I am fine today! Just not ready to get moving on this day, lol! Gotta write some bills and do some housework! YUCK! Don't feel like doing any of it!!! :help: You are doing so good with workouts! Wow, great for you!!! I am sure you are sore! How long are you working out at a clip? Do some for me!!! LOL Baby napping? Give her a hug and kiss from Grammy! She is such a precious little thing!:kiss Big plans for the day????

Please help! I think I have a problem!
dmtjet replied to SD Chick's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I think I would go to "clear liquids" ... broth, jello, water, etc. and see if you see an improvement. Not sure it will work, but worth a shot! Seems like from what I've read, it helps with everything else. Maybe the creamy stuff was just too much this soon for your stomach!!!
