Yes, and I love the Carnation Instant Breakfast sugar free Mixes, add milk, a banana, Peanut Butter ... for chocolate or vanilla, a scoop of Protein mix ... Yummy!!!! Also, low sodium V8, hated it before, but now when I am hungry and feel I shouldn't have anymore, it is my friend, lol!:confused:

Gyne said it is a type of yeast skin infection and you can use anything you would use vaginally, such as Monistat, etc. It does work!

I had my surgery on July 9th and I was scared to death!!! A few panic attacks and a lot of praying, then when I woke up in the recovery room, I was wondering if I did the right thing, 'cause I felt rough. But honestly, we are talking maybe a few hours of feeling not so good and shortly thereafter, you don't feel that bad! I feel it is single handedly the best thing I have EVER done for MYSELF!!! I would do it over again in a heartbeat! I haven't lost a pile yet, but 14 pounds and I can tell you I feel 10 years younger!!! I feel happier and more energetic than I have in years! If you want to be there for your kids, you will be much more able to really BE THERE, if you are healthy and happy! :confused:

Tinkerbell, I get that way if I eat too much or too fast! It hurts like the dickens right smack dab in the middle of my chest. Seems to go away if I don't have anything for awhile. Yesterday I got some nasty pain right under both ribs, just a second or so, but stopped me in my tracks!!! Seems like we forget, we are new at this, and our bodies aren't healed yet!!! We feel pretty good, so we push and do things we probably aren't quite ready to do! If it gets too bad though, I would definitely call the doc and see what he has to say about it!

Linda, I was also told to try to go 3 to 4 hours between meals. Each meal being 4 oz., and again with most of it being protein.

I was told to try to have only 4 oz. of whatever I eat. Seems everyone's discharge instructions may have been a little different. But I am to make my protein be the bulk of it and always have that first.

Sorry, so late getting back to you!!! My DH came home and I had to feed him, lol! Wasn't a hard one though, he had lunchmeat sandwiches and some pasta leftover from lunch today and I had pasta. So actually pretty easy, lol!!! It's the cleanup and putting away that is the killer, lol!

Welcome back, Lynette!!! Missed you!!! System Recovery usually does help! I have had to do that several times, I really didn't lose anything, unless something was added after the date I recovered to!

Now, you can get their chili with or without beans, too!!! Chili works for me every time, lol!

Yeah, and their broccoli cheese soup is awesome!!!! I get that all the time. My daughter works at Chili's and she said get a kid's cajun chicken pasta (w/o chicken if you want), it has alfredo sauce instead of marina. She says you have to pay extra if you want the chicken. They also have a Guiltless Menu!!! I love to go there and go there often! Have fun!

Ahh, soooo sorry to hear your predictament!!! I am new at this, but I think if it were me, I would go back on liquids for awhile, just to reset everything!!! I don't know, worth a shot, I suppose!!! Good luck with it all!!! You can do it!

Aza, Congrats! IndioGirl!!! I know what you are saying ... I am like that too! If I get down and depressed with it, it isn't going to be effective for me!!! I have to find MY happy place! I think all of us have slipped a little on our pre-op diets, but overall, we all are eating MUCH less than we were! All we can do is our best, and each of us know what that is! Congrats on being on mushies!!!

Kathy, I am sure he is!!! What a wonderful family you have! I only know you from on here, but you seem very sweet, loving and happy! You have a bubbly personality! I am sure the kids have adopted that as well!

Cazulay, Hang in there! Men can be quite inconsiderate sometimes! They turn into big babies when they are sick! Just remember, you are doing this for yourself, not for him! Think of it is a "body and spirit lift!!" He will come around! Maybe he has a case of the nerves too, they aren't the best at expressing themselves!!!!

Glad you were able to sleep! You are a trooper!!! Are the kids back home with you then? How are they handling Mommy being a little under the weather? I am so glad your experience was a good one!
