  2. Here are my battle wounds.. The area with gauze was where my drain was
  3. Yes, I have a binder and I love it! It is amazing. I think the typical discomforts of surgery are what I expected... But the more I think about it, I feel like I'm breaking up with a close friend... Food. I am somewhat lost w/o food... Ugh... I'm such a food addict :/
  4. Omg.. You all have such wonderful words of encouragement! Thank you post op day #3 and I've been a crying/overwhelmed mess. I just stare at all those darn calcium chews/vitamins/protein concoctions - I don't want any of it : / I just want to sit on the toilet or get in bed without feeling like my abdomen is ripping in half
  5. Sleeved on 10/2 ... Home yesterday afternoon. I'm tearful and in pain today. Im also overwhelmed at all of the stuff I'm suppose to be doing now w vitamins etc... Please tell me this gets better ;(
  6. Leaving for the hospital in a few mins! Yay... Our day is finally here. Many thoughts and prayers for all my Sleeving Buddies today ~ can't wait to become losers together :-)
  7. I bought little 1oz and 2oz cups w lids to easily measure food. I made sf jello "shots" to be ready when I get home. Was odd making Jell-O shots without alcohol

  9. Good Luck to you ! I'm the day after you... See you in post op land!
  10. I'm beyond excited Down 13lbs and hope this fatty liver is a little bit smaller. I'm stocked up with protein powders/sf jello/broth & baby food prunes (I've been told its good to have on hand for possible constipation issues). We can do this !! We'll be on the losers bench before we know it
  11. I got it @ the wt loss center or @ our hospital gift shop. I'm sure u can order it online. * I would not recommend the strawberry sorbet*
  12. The unjury chocolate Splendor of my favorite so far... (W skim milk)
  13. Doing good.. Getting excited! Down 15lbs w pre-op diet. Had to break out the blender and start getting creative w Protein shakes
  14. You will do great We all will be on the road to becoming big ole losers before we know it
  15. Day #10 of pre-op ~ Ok.. So today I made some poor food choices (I think kind of like a food funeral) -- after many great days of following the rules and losing 12lbs. For some dumb reason I ate like crap today and wow have I paid the consequences ! My body must've been somewhat detoxing and I truly pissed it off today. The crap I ate today has quickly exited my body (beyond my control) and I'm sweaty and literally sick feeling. I thought this would happen after I was sleeved, not before? I'm surprised my body reacted like it did. But I will not be making this mistake again !
  16. Oct 2nd is Soo close! I'm getting excited - went grocery shopping today.. I need to still pick up Sublingual B12 and Bariatric Advantage Multivitamins and I think I'm ready.
  17. Lots of prayers for ya! Good Luck! I will join you on the post-op side in 8days!
