  1. Part of my MD's pre surgery plan was to wean off of caffeine ... It was a slow wean, but I'm officially caffeine free now. I miss those Starbucks Caffeine highs
  2. Mine is 14days of protein shakes 2 meals and 6oz chicken/veggies for 1 meal. The day before surgery is all clears.. Very interesting how they all are so different
  3. Ok, so I'm curious if anyone else is keeping their surgery somewhat of a secret? A very small amount of friends know about my surgery. I didn't want to hear their negative/uneducated thoughts.. So I've kept it to myself and reached out to support groups. Plus, I didn't want people constantly asking me who much I've lost and what can I eat/when. Too many repetitive questions that I don't want to answer over and over again...

  5. I decided to begin my 2week pre-op a day and a half early. My liver US said something about having a 'fatty liver' - I figured I could begin shrinking my enlarged liver - it will help w surgery. I love the idea posted above about having a project planned to do during the times of hunger. I turn to food for everything .. So the more occupied I am, the better
