Taminski reacted to dork in My experience with Dr.Kelly
Your story sounds pretty much like mine with Dr Kelly. I booked directly with him and had Alina and Cecy. I had Florence Hospital instead of Nova and stayed in the hotel Lucerna. I had no pain and stopped taking meds the morning after surgery. I'm down 50 pounds now and I would recommend Dr Kelly to anyone.

Taminski reacted to waterlady in My experience with Dr.Kelly
Your story sounds the same as ours. My son was just discharged from Hospital Nova today. We are loving the Lucerne hotel and the pleasant hotel staff. I am an ICU RN and I have to say that the doctors and nurses were absolutely wonderful. They tended to our needs immediately and were extremely competent. I would highly recommend. DR KELLY AND NOVA.

Taminski got a reaction from Greeknugget in Whos in September? We need some September buddies!
I am supposed to do 1 week of low carb "atkins" type diet and 1 week liquids but I decided to do 2 weeks liquid since its also low carb to give my body a jump start on losing. I didn't qualify through my insurance but I am determined to make changes and get this surgery so I am heading to Mexico for my surgery.

Taminski got a reaction from leanerlena in Self Pay & Complications
I too am self pay as I don't qualify for surgery through my insurance even though they cover the procedure. Per the conversation I had with them since they didn't pay for and cover the surgery they will NOT pay for any complications or aftercare related to it. That means if I have complications I am on my own. Need to get my Vitamin levels checked, again on my own. They will benefit down the road from my having the surgery and getting healthy but won't pay anything towards it. However I really feel like I need to do this. No I don't want to cause a financial hardship on my family and I am praying that there will be no complications but I can't go on like I am now either. So I'm taking the risk, on my own.
