  6. It will get better day by day. Use the abdominal binder as much as you can, that helped me alot. I didn't feel completely better until like the 4th week but each day will be better than the last and when the pain is gone your going to love your sleeve. Praying you feel better soon but be encouraged that, this too shall pass Sent from my LG-P769 using VST
  7. I didn't have that issue but I would wait until your clear to do whatever. Only because your still healing and why complicate things. That's just my opinion but call your surgeon and find out good luck on your gastric sleeve journey! Sent from my LG-P769 using VST
  8. I'll be praying for you My surgery was 7/30 & prayer is powerful because I went in there and was so at peace. I pray that you also will be at peace. Sent from my LG-P769 using VST

  10. Woohooo you go girl! That's awesome!
  11. I'm in the same boat! The scale wasn't moving for me for 2 weeks. I haven't weighed myself since last week because it is very discouraging but I'm just doing what I've been doing hoping when I go to my follow up this Wednesday it won't be the same. What has encouraged me though is the fact that I have lost inches!
  12. mejazzyt....how have you been feeling? I hope your pain has eased up, I haven't had any pain for about a week. Just thought I'd check up on you
  13. Hi...and yes I have felt like that. I'm going on 4 weeks post op next Tuesday and I've been to 3 gatherings where there has been lots of food and I also have looked at everyone wondering how can they eat so much. Maybe because we get full so quick now it's hard to believe how people can possibly fit all that in their stomach lol but then I remembered that was me not long ago. I have prepared ahead and have taken my own food so I don't have any desire to eat what eveyone else is eating. .
  14. I try to walk as much as I can but once the pain starts I sit down. I can't wait for the pain to ease up so I can walk more because I don't feel I'm walking as much as I should or would like too.
  15. I'll be 4 weeks post-op next Tuesday and mines have shrunk already lol! If anything I wanted to keep my boobies lol guess they'll be falling off with the weight too haha!
  16. I was sleeved on July. 30 as well and still have the same burning pain off and on. Seems also when I turn or move a certain way it starts up again. I was told to take it easy when I'm feeling that way because I'm still healing. Hope this helps you somewhat. I'm sure in time we'll both be good
  17. I'm 23 days post-op and barely a few days ago I was able to sleep on my stomach comfortably and my gosh did it feel good!
  18. Hi everyone! I also was sleeved on 7/30! I'm new here, just made an account today! Even before signing up I would browse around and it's very informative. At my 2 wk follow up appt I was down 28 lbs. Haven't weighed myself since but hey it's nice to know we can go through this new journey of ours together so add me. I'm still trying to figure it all out so can't do that yet lol
  19. I was sleeved on 7/30. At my 2 week follow-up appt I was down 28 lbs. Haven't weighed myself since but my clothes are definitely fitting big!
  20. Yes, my protein shakes were also included in the daily 64 oz of fluids. I'm a little over 3 weeks post-op and it was hard to get all them fluids in. I focused more on the protein shakes and water. It will definitely get better! Hang in there and sip, sip, sip
