I was sleeved 8/28 and I am thinking I want some variety while making sure I meet Protein goals once I start eating.... So I'm leaning toward purchasing the Isopure no carb unflavored Protein Powder, has anyone tried it? I like the flavored ready to drink Isopure but I'm iffy about unflavored powder. Any suggestions?

Sleeved on 8/21. Spent 4 days in the ICU. Had 4 blood transfusions due to some bleeding out during surgery. Had to go the ER on the 30th due to chest pains and shortness of breath. Now I'm home and having trouble getting into a comfortable position to sleep and still trying to get hydrated. Any suggestions/advice?.....on sleeping and drinking bcuz Water is becoming so boring. And does anyone know how to keep the taste of dehydration out of your mouth whilst sleeping.< /div>I sleep at an incline, I have about 4 pillows that prop me up so that it's not too painful laying down or getting up. I'm now 5 days post op and find it much easier getting in and out of bed. Also have you tried drinking Powerade zero, I drink 16oz plain Water and 16oz Powerade. Hope that helps!
I had the same issues. I would recommend you get a quick dissolve anti nausea med from you doc. I am 17days out and still have to take mine every now and then so I can continue to get my liquids in.
Thats what I was given, but after I take it I start to feel crappy. Nausea started last night out of nowhere and went away after about an hr but this morning it's lasted longer and I can't even eat my Breakfast
I am having a bit of lightheadedness and nausea, took my meds when I woke up but I'm so nauseas that I can't even eat my pudding. Is this happening to anyone else?
I was sleeved Wednesday the 28th. I was wondering when will I have a BM?I think everyone is different, I hear a lot of people say 2weeks or longer. I also was sleeved wed and had a BM today.
Surgery 8/28 was a success! Came home last night and I still have quite a bit of gas still but I'm doing fine! Doctor said it was ok to take Gas X so I'm hoping that it will help get rid of the rest of the gas along with my walking.
