  1. I was sleeved Sept 12th I am only down 20lbs. Very bummed. I exercise 3-4 days a week. From walking 60 minutes with 60 minutes on the eliptical to a 4 hour walk, or my 5 mile walking video. The weight should be melting off. But I am hanging in there. I see the Dr. and the nut next week.
  2. 8 am tomorrow for my surgery. Getting a little nervous. I have the house stocked with chicken broth, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, powerade zero and isopure. I possibly will come home tomorrow, my insurance only approved for outpatient. Which could screw up using my long term sick. Hoping the Dr. will at least admit me for 23 hour observation. Had my last coffe for 3 months. I am down 6 lbs on my preop diet over the last 2 weeks. I was hoping for more but it didn't happen. But I do feel better having lost those 6 lbs.
  3. Day 7 of my preop diet. I have lost 1 whole pound:( I have been sticking too it. Trying to push the water, Surgery is 1 week from tomorrow. I was really hoping to lose 10lbs on this preop diet. Very disappointed. But today is another day. When I did the medifast diet I lost 7lbs the 1st week. So I am not sure what is going on.
  4. For those on a clear liquid diet Isopure clear liquid protein drinks. 40 grams, 160 calories in 1 20 oz bottle. Not bad flavors. I am stocking up for my 2 week pot op clear liquid diet. You can get them off amazon by the case at not a bad price. You can buy them at GNC. And I am told Whole foods.
  5. I got my ubflavored protein powder from unjury.com. It has 20 grams of protein, 100 calories and 0 carbs. I haven't tried it yet. I ordered the sample pack. I mixed the chocolate with coffe and it wasn't bad. I bought some isopure at gnc. Not bad. 40 grams of protein in 20 oz.. Not to bad. My Dr has me on clear liquids for 2 weeks after surgery. Then full liquids for 2 weeks. Then yogurt, stage 1 and2 baby food consistency for 2 weeks. Then ground meet, and flakey fish for 2 weeks. Very strick diet compaerd to other sleevers.
  6. You might want to stay away from the G2, lots of carbs. But the powerade zero is ok.
  7. I am scheduled for September 12th. Getting apprehensive. I want this to work.
  8. Hi, My surgery date is September 12th. A little apprehensive. But I am looking forward to being healthier. I already exercise 4 days a week, I walk 3-6 miles. I plan on walking another 1/2 marathon in November. i now I will walk faster if I have lost weight. a little worried about weight loss stalls and what if this doesn't work. My surgeon has a very strict diet for the 8 weeks post op. 2 weeks of clear liquids, 2 weeks of full liquids, 2 weeks of yougurt, baby food meat and protein shakes, then 2 weeks of ground meat, flakey fish. Then I can try other food. It should be interesting. I started this process back in February. I should have had surgery in May but the Drs. office is very slow and has lost my paper work a time a or two.
