  1. Best wishes for your upcoming surgery Back2Barb78 and I like your new picture.
  2. Well happy belated birthday Newme101513!
  3. A tailor is a very good idea Juliansmommy! I'm sure there are things in my closet that will be taken in before I donate to a shelter or the Goodwill.
  4. The dress is from ASOS in case anybody wants to know.
  5. Are you adding anything to your wardrobe for the fall and winter seasons, or are you going to work with what you have in your closet? I LOVE  to shop so I will be adding a couple of tops and sweater from Marshalls or TJMaxx. I'd also like a leather/pleather dress or skirt...if the price is right. I should be having my surgery late October to mid November so I know it won't be wise to spend a lot of money on clothes but I'm just curious as to what everyone else plans on doing. Post pictures if you like. I'd like this dress...
  6. Awesome! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  7. Thank you for this. I thought was once your test came back negative you were in the clear...now I know different.
  8. I hope your appointment goes well with your appointment. Hopefully your test were done less than 12 months ago. If not, I think you might have to do them over.
  9. I was also tested for this before surgery. I though that was part of all the normal pre-op testing?
  10. Ditto to all that has been posted. Also, I hate not having enough energy to play with my toddler.
  11. Good luck and I can't wait to be on the losers bench too!
  12. I'm glad thing went smoothly for you and all your concerns/questions were answered.
  13. I totally understand. My plan was similar to Newat52...did half calf for one week and then decaf after. Good luck to you on your journey!
  14. Ughhh, thanks for this information. I was hoping to NOT have to see my neighborhood cobbler anymore for calf extensions on my boots. Time will tell...
  15. Looking good and 42 pounds in one month is great! Was this all lost post op?
  16. You look fantastic Barisaxylady!
  17. Good luck to you both shrinking away!
  18. Hi All- I have finally completed my 12 week Options Classes at Kaiser! The labs, EKG and chest x-ray have been done as well. Now I'm just waiting on the call from the surgeons office to set up my appointment. I'm guessing that they will schedule to EGD then? Can anyone that has gone through the process with Kaiser confirm this? Thank so much and I can't wait to join you all of the losers bench! Nicole
  19. I'm hoping to have my surgery in November at Kaiser (West Los Angeles). I completed the 12 week of Options Classes that are required, lab work done, EKG, chest x-rays and pre-op appointment going over all the test results. Everything was good there but I was low on Vitamin D. Now I'm waiting on the call to set up my appointment with the surgeon! I guess the EGD will be scheduled after? Can't wait to be with you all on the losers bench!!
  20. Looking good Kristy!
  21. That is awesome...keep up the good work!
  22. Hi PowderKeg42! I will also be having my surgery through Kaiser (West Los Angeles) hopefully in November. Good luck in your journey and welcome!
