I agree with Mel...your doctor should give you some sort of guideline for supplements. I chose Celebrate ..multi Vitamin w/iron, B-50 Complex and calcium chews.< /p>

Idahogirl,
My surgeon said I would still experience hunger, wish I didn't. Oh well
I've found that following a high protein/low carb the hunger really disappears. Seriously...the hunger is gone and I have to remind myself to eat. Maybe give that a try.
Of course that means no potatoes, rice, flour, sugar...

Dare I say that 1 cup of food is too much right now??
You had your surgery this month right?
Your stomach is still swollen and healing. I wouldn't strive to eat and be satisfied/full at this stage.

There are a couple of threads floating around here with before and after pictures.

I'm currently using GB's free 30 day subscription. It's nice to get free clothes weekly.

I have a desk job and was off for 6 glorious weeks! I took FMLA and my employer has short term disability at 100%. I was quite fatigued the first couple of weeks; glad I could nap at my leisure.

I started keeping a supply of calcium chews in my desk drawer at work and that has helped me remember. It's like a nice little chocolate snack during the day.

What stage are you in at 6 weeks out? It varies from doctor to doctor what they allow you to eat.

Have hit a couple stalls but I remind myslf that I am down 50 pounds total in 2 months. But that fear kicks in once in a whole when I get on the scale and it doesn't move. Matching the head with the numbers and the way I look is a challenge. I do feel great. Still want to lose 50 more.
That is AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I think that is your "full" signal. I tend to get the hiccups when I'm at or near capacity. Many people here have the same signals...burping, hiccups and even sneezing.
