  1. Same here. I only took the hydrocodone for 1 day at home, my pain was not that bad.
  2. Losing 9 lbs during your cycle is GREAT!
  3. ^^ She said it's almost over so, she'll probably get a swoosh on the scale after that.
  4. It's probably due to TOM. I'm guessing the scale will go down after it's over.

Did you keep it a secret?

Yes, people who are not overweight and have never has weight issues just don't understand. That's why I didn't tell my family...none of them have ever been overweight. Plus I didn't want to hear " why don't you just do WW again. You lost a lot of weight on that program."

Did you keep it a secret?

This is a hot topic indeed! I told no one but my HR Rep and my supervisor. This is a decision I made and I didn't want any negative feedback. I agree with you Wendyt it's not about being ashamed; I choose to keep my medical history private.
  9. Interesting... Why does your NUT think a low carb diet is bad before surgery?

    4 months post op pics

Looking good and I love your gorgeous red hair!
  11. I had a stall for 2-3 weeks too ( not sure how long...stopped focusing on the days) but, you/we know that it's only temporary and the scale will move again!
  12. I would keep it shoulder length while the new hair grows in with layers for movement but, I've always been partial to medium/long hair. I got a pixie cut in my 20's and I vowed no short hair EVER again. I just feel more feminine and lady like with longer hair.

I tried them pre op and they were tolerable...post op I can't stand them.
  15. You're doing good Gettingsexyback! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'll do my best to help you along in your journey. I'm a creature of habit and my meals typically look like this: B: Premier Protein shake L: Egg drop Soup with a scoop of unjury protein powder D: 2 ounces of salmon or tilapia, 2 tablespoons of green veggies ( I'm never able to finish all of it) Snack - Ostrim Jerky or more egg drop soup I'm getting about 60 ounces of Water a day at this point but I'm trying to increase that amount. My bariatrician is happy with the amount of water I'm getting at 2 months post op.
  16. Lol!! No that's not a problem!! I'm just glad it did not fall off with the weight loss!! It's still very big! Lol That's good to hear! I'm hoping I retain my assets as well!!
  17. Oopsie bread is also a good alternative. There are lots of recipes floating around the web...I've attached one for reference. http://www.food.com/recipe/oopsie-bread-497736
  18. You look great! Sorry but when I read your screen name the first thing that came into my mind was..." I got her saved in my phone under Big Booty." LOL I hope you get that reference. Hope that doesn't offend you.
  19. Congratulations on your weight loss Shellvsg! I totally understand the fear of a regain...I think many may have this fear from years of dieting and failing. You'll reach your goal before you know it AND keep it off!
  20. Good luck tomorrow! Just a suggestion - you should also post this is the Lap-Band Forum for pre-oppers (Lap-Band) that may have questions.

Congratulations and welcome to the loser's bench! Glad you healed so quickly with no complications.
  22. Indeed!!! I have been using MoM and Colace for the constipation. I'm looking into trying a Pro-biotic as well. Edited to add- I HATE MoM but when you need relief...you'll do what's necessary.
  23. ^^True...I didn't even think about that.

I would try Ebay if you know your size. I got a David Meister gown (MSRP $575) for $60 dollars! If Ebay is not your thing try Saks, Neiman's, Neiman's Last Call or Nordstrom's.
