  1. I felt the same way. I definitely hyped up for the surgery. For me I like to plan ahead and be prepared for the worst but I'm definitely glad it was easier
  2. Yes you will be fine. I had the same thoughts. Every day I saw improvement. But don't be discouraged if you don't see it everyday. I am 9 months out and can drink plenty and eat just enough. I'm glad I did this it was the best decision I have ever made stay positive. It will become the new you !
  3. I am 9 months out and I'm not sure if I have even experienced hunger since the surgery. I get cravings but I can honestly say I can't even remember one feeling of hunger.
  4. I kept it a secret and I am 10 months out. The only one that knows is my wife. I also am a teacher and I know how fast things fly around my building. The funniest thing was the older teachers asking me if I was sick. I even overheard that I was on prayer lists. Its just hard for some people to accept. The ironic part is I was sick when I was morbidly obese but its so common that its viewed as the norm. Even my family doesn't like the amount of weight I have lost. So I do not regret not telling anyone. But its a personal choice and everyone has their own choice.
  5. Our bodies are resistant to change even with surgery but it will pass. I was in your shoes several months ago.
  6. It happens I am 9 months out and went through the same thing. It will pass and you will drop the weight. I am now at goal. I was a lower bmi (37)and 27 yr old. 289 lbs now at 170
  7. Does any one know when or if any studies with data 8 -10 years out there ?
