Post op Dr visit today. Cleared to drive..yay...cleared for purees..yea.. came straight home, opened up a can of progresso lite beef pot roast soup poured it in my blender added a sciup of plain unjury blended it all together. .. after almost 4 weeks of water and protein shakes it was the best two tbls of food ever!

I know.. it's like I just woke up one morning and BAM! 2-3lbs down every day. Then BAM! it stopped. Lol... I'm due for another BAM! Moment!

Sleeved on 10/21. Hw 250, sw 246 day of surgery 236 t oday 226. I feel like in comparison to some it's coming off kind of slow but on the other hand I haven't been down in the 220's for YEARS! also I could be walking more. I haven't had any problems getting in protein or water and although I didn't have much pain (unless I was trying to get up) lol... I'm still pretty sore, mostly where the "indented" incision is. All in all it was 100 times easier than I thought it would be.

Ok so you want to buy only virgin cold prosessed coconut oil. It does not smell or raste anything like "coconut". It has a sort of ntty scent to it, pleasant. Tou can uae it instead of you $75 night cream... add a spoonful to your smoothie or just about anything. Use caution when cooking not to heat over 350ºf. Best place to get it is a giant tub at Costco for about $20

Hi, I go back to work on Monday November 5th. I'm terrified I won't be able to keep up with my protein and liquid intake. What did you do and how was getting back behind the chair for you?

I was also sleeved on Monday. I wanted to go back to work after a week but my surgeon made me promise to take two weeks off. Today is day 6 and while I could probably handle it, I'm grateful for another week (I'm a hair stylist). If for no other reason than just to have the time off for myself.

I have had people tell me in BOLD not to weigh so often. Well my two cents is to do what works for you. Just as we all lose at different rates our methods of getting there are different as well. What works for you may make me crazy and vise-versa. I think some people on this forum should remember that we're here for support and advice. .. not orders. Goog luck

Fifth day and the scale finally mooved! Down 3# this morning amd just for fun I weighed again just now and down 1/2 lb more! Yipee.. its working

Fyi... I am only drinking maybe 2 oz of broth so I don't think "backing off" is gonna help me much. I appreciate the responses but I don't appreciate feeling attacked for feeling frustrated. Especially since I have had no problem with getting in all fluids and protein
