Had my first upper GI yesterday. First off COOL, and second, my sleeve is freakishly small. Not at all like the sleeve diagrams I've seen. More like a tube and no wider than my esophagus. So interesting to actually see it!

There will be some people whose jealousy will be apparent even though they try to mask it. We just have to shrug it off and keep living for ourselves. <3

So true!!! honestly i didnt think this would happen to me... but it did with co-workers that i thought were good friends.. its sad actually that they cant be happy for a new heathier me... instead they try to tear me apart - its very sad - but the haters are going to hate... and i just shake... shake it off...

After two full, busy weekends - multiple parties, weddings, holidays - I'm still down on the scale and am super happy at that progress. But holy crap, I am wiped out!

NSV! NSV! A colleague walked past my classroom today and said she didn't see me and wondered if I had a substitute today. (I am a teacher.) Then she realized..."OMG! IT WAS YOU!" It was the best news I heard all day. Rockin' these Citizen of Humanity jeans!

I am so frustrated. I follow my plan to the T! I am getting in all of my protein, eating only what I am supposed to, working out regularly etc. The only thing I could do better on is fluid consumption. But I am 9 weeks post op and have only lost 38 lbs. I want more!!! :/

i look at it this way... i am down 72lbs in 4 1/2 months... when have i EVER been able to say that??? NEVER... so if i am at a stall for a few weeks... then so be it, it wont be forever... So i am going to try to shake it up a bit, and do my "pre-op" diet for the next 2-3 days... keep strong - we will get through this together!!

^^i agree with the above... however I would talk with your doctor... lately i have been extremely tired, and my doc suggested that i take one of my vitamins in the AM then the rest in the after noon rather one before breakfast & then one after... i also doubled my B12 under his suggestion.. it seems to be helping i am only 3 days into doing it this way.
