  1. I am miss anti-tracker. Always have been, since I Weight Watcher'd the crap out of myself in my 20's. I just have no tracking energy anymore. So here's how I'm doing without tracking Protein, calories, etc.... anything really. I am 2 months post op sleeve & have lost about just 1 pound in the last 2 weeks, but about 40 pounds since 12/13/13, including about 10 lbs in the the 10 day preop diet. Breakfast: Starbuck's Tall sugar free, Non fat Mocha Late Breakfast Snack: 2 slices (about an once-2 ounces) of deli turkey Lunch: 3/4 cup cottage cheese with lots of pepper Snack: Starbuck's Tall Non Fat Salted Caramel Mocha. Pre-Dinner: 2 slices deli turkey Dinner: Taco Time Beef salad, regular size. Ate about 1/2-3/4 cup of the beef, shredded cheese, pico de gallo & lettuce. Snack: Freshly juiced apple, strawberries (about 1/2 cup), 2 carrots, spinach & kale - about 12 ounces. Calling all nutrition critics!

    Critique my daily diet

Oh and random thought, but I think my dislike toward tracking has to due with sometimes having to guess. It' drives me batty to think the numbers are inaccurate. Crazy, I know. My type-A is showing.

    Critique my daily diet

Awesome thanks for the feedback. I am going to cut out some liquid calories. Easy way to decrease my calorie intake a notch. Also, I didn't know I could also see what other sleevers are logging on My Fitness Pal. That's very cool! I will be new to the site but I'm going to give it a go. I do believe tracking is important. It's time to create a new, good habit. Even if it's not every day, my NUT suggested maybe three days a week to help keep on track. I love hearing others daily meal plans, too

I crown you 'worst advise' award.

A lot of women's thighs touch, even at a healthy weight.

    Just Wanted To Rant

One word: Jealousy. That's too bad for her. Try to be compassionate. She's being insecure. But that was a very immature thing for her to say.

    Juicing is so amazing

Every day for about three weeks now. I love it! My skin is glowing. The weight is falling off. I juice once per night & eat Protein during the day. (And lattes, for full disclosure lol)

    Menstrual cycles

I have never heard you can't have an IUD with a C/S either. I have Mirena and it has stopped my periods completely for about the last 2 years. Since my surgery 12/23, I've had 2 periods now - it's so weird! I'm sure they'd be insane, out of control periods if I didn't have Mirena.

    No drain tube after VSG?

This strikes me as fraudulent. This line would create more of a red flag for me than the no drain tube issue. Never had one myself.

  17. NSV of the day: Cleaning my house PAIN FREE. No more pain in my lower back, no more aching feet. It felt amazing.

      ad1203

That is great. On Friday, when I was cleaning, I kept having to take breaks because my lower back was killing me. All I kept thinking was, "after I have surgery and lose some weight, this won't be a problem anymore." Just one of the things I look forward to. Great for you! That is a major NSV!

OVER A MONTH POST OP AND NO CHANGE!

You aren't working harder than other people by not eating Popeye's. Most us of don't eat Popeye's, or anything of the like. Eat Protein, protein, protein. Not fried protein, either. You will lose.

What are you NOT doing (but supposed to)?

I don't track. My doctor told me I should start doing this at least every now and then to make sure I'm hitting goals. I still catch myself eating too fast and not chewing well enough. I eat while reading on the computer.
  20. No, you generally don't die from kicking ass.

    Feeling so defeated

    Hugs. That's a hard situation.
  22. sleevethefatbehind

Sometimes I wish I was alone.

You can do this. You have to stick with the preop diet. You are having SURGERY. Remember, the doctor gives strict orders on the pre op diet for your own good.
