My mother gets those when she has blood sugar issues. She is a brittle diabetic, so her sugar levels fluctuate a lot. Her doctor told her is was nothing to worry about. That being said, I'm glad you are going to the doctor to have it looked at. I wish you luck.

Christmas - New Year Challenge
kltklass replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
228lbs. Down 2. Not to shabby for the holidays. -
I can see the frustration us are feeling, however, trying for a quick fix is not in the best interest of your body. We have put a lot of stress on our body by getting this surgery and our bodies are changing daily. Your thighs will slim down when your body is ready, be patient with the process. I looked at the pictures. I too have "thunder thighs" that get in the way. I would wait until you reach your goal weight until liposuction. Turnthepage recommened using spanx and I agree. They help hold everything in and make the thighs look slimmer and reduce the jiggly movement. I wish you the best on your journey. Good luck to you.

Both of you just had major surgery...you are supposed to be tired! Take it easy and get lots of rest. I didn't feel up to doing a lot for 2-3 weeks. Try not to compare yourself to others, it will only bring frustration. This is not a race! Slow and steady is my motto. This is the beginning of a new journey. Take time to enjoy and learn your new tool, as this wiil assist in your success.

Problems with protein, help?
kltklass replied to Sleepymagi1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I like Premier protein shakes. They have 30 grams of protein, 160 cal. They taste really good. They can be purchased at Costco or Sam's. Wal-Mart may have them but not in large containers. -
I've got butterflies in my tummy
kltklass replied to hopeliveshere's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't worry, the doctor will let those butterfly's out in no time. <grin> Seriously, you will do awesome. Good luck on you new journey. -
I have an addiction to carbs (bread, pasta and sweets). If I eat them I crave more. This was especially true before my surgery. I have had one cupcake, last week at a party. It didn't set well with my sleeve, so, I won't be doing that again. Since having my surgery (8/6/13) my sleeve has kept me from binge eating (YEA!). I love my sleeve and I know you will too. Stay focused on your goal and remember we are human. We make mistakes, learn from them and move on. Good Luck on your new journey.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well. I had my surgery on 8/6/13 and I have the feeling of bubbles, however, no nausea. When did you have your surgery? If you are feeling concerned I would talk to your doctor. He/She is the only one who should be giving you medical advise. Good luck.

Sometimes the cost difference is in reference to your BMI. The higher the BMI the more the cost.

Do i smell or something?
kltklass replied to reeluvs2sing's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Shortly after I had my sleeve, I went to lunch with a good friend. She told me she felt uncomfortable eating in front of me. I asked why... you never had a problem eating in front of me before. She explained it was because she was eating more than I was and didn't want me to be uncomfortable. I simply stated that this was my choice and she had nothing to fear. I think she was fearful that I would change and no longer want to be friends. I don't pick my friends based on their looks or food consumption. I choose people who are kind, considerate, friendly, and because we have something in common (amoung other attributes). I told her this and said you are my friend. Maybe your friends are nervous/jealous of the changes you are going through. Call them up and talk about your fears. Tell them why they are your friend and set a time to get together. We are here to support you.Good luck on your journey. -
Halloween Weight loss Challenge
kltklass replied to FeeIsMe2's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Ok, I'm in... Starting weight 259. Goal is 245. I tend to be a slow loser so I set the goal for 14 lbs. I hope to do much better!!! -
I use better then bouillon and mix with water. It has 0.5g of fat per 1 tsp (per cup). I mix 1 tsp with about 12-17 oz of water and sip during the day. Tastes good and is easy to fix for those of use without talent in the kitchen.

3 weeks Pureed food Need Suggestions
kltklass replied to alpleasant's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wouldn't. Pasta may not be on your approved list. I would stick with liquid or baby food. That being said, everyone is different. Double check with your NUT or Doctor.
