  1. Surgery date: 10-18-13 Surgery weight: 236 Current weight: 204 Goal weight: 155
  2. I was also sleeved on October 18th and I have lost 22lbs since surgery along with 12lbs on my pre-op diet. I'm very happy with my weight loss so far. I'm not sure if I'm losing slow or not, but I do know that it might be because my BMI was on the lower side. My surgery weight was 235 & my weight now is 213. I'm doing great and feeling even better!
  3. Highest weight 337 (I lost 102 over 2 years before surgery) Surgery weight 235 Surgery date 10-18-13 Current weight 220 Goal weight 150
  4. What did you all eat on a typical day?
  5. I will be 1 week post op tomorrow and yesterday evening I started to get a tingling feeling in the center on my chest right under my breast bone in the middle top part of my tummy. Is that normal?? Anyone else experience this?
  6. Refried beans are on my modified liquids list, but I'm not eating them again for a long time, if ever. I think I'm just drinking and eating to fast because I'm trying to get everything in. Thank you all so much for responding!
  7. Had my sleeve October 18 and I'm having trouble getting in liquids and protein. After drinking about 4 oz of a premier protein shake today I felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest, then after about 20-30 minutes I began spitting up about 4 ounces thick foamy liquid. So I went for a 15 minute walk and then inside to rest. It's been about 3 hours so I decided to try some refried beans about 1 oz. over the course of 15-18 minutes. No I feel like it's just sitting in my esophagus and now I'm starting the spitting up foamy thick liquid again. Any advise would be great! I called my doc and they said to slow down and keep trying to get my fluids and protein in.
  8. Had my sleeve done on 10-18 and my incision where my drain was still hurts. The other incisions don't hurt at all.
  9. I'm scheduled for surgery in the morning @ 10. I'm secure in my decision, but I'm also nervous.
  10. Awesome! Are you going through St. Francis?
  11. Thank you all so much! I'm so ready for this.
  12. I'm having surgery October 18th and I'm looking for any advise or tips. I have all the information in my binder from my surgeon's office, but just looking for insider information from you all who have already been sleeved! Thank you in advance.
  13. Got my surgery date. October 18th it is!
  14. Got the call yesterday that I'm approved! Should get a call today with exact surgery date, but it will be in October! I'm so excited.
  15. My advise would be to only weigh yourself once a week. My doctor told me that we have anywhere from 5-10 lbs of water weight that is constantly fluctuating. It's next to impossible to put on 3 pounds of fat in 3 days...especially with the low amount of calories that most sleeved people eat per day. Good luck!
  16. You look great! Did you have any plastics? Your skin looks great...this really gives me hope!
  17. I was called yesterday and told that I passed my psychological exam and now they will submit everything to insurance for approval. Hoping to hear something within a couple weeks! I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
  18. What was your starting weight? & how tall are you?
  19. What are they gonna do for the clot?
