8 weeks out, 34 lbs down and better food
LOL thats great keep up the great work and I agree its a task to eat now I have to remind myself. I am still working on drinking all the water requirements but I am almost there. Also have you notices how your tastebuds have changed, things things that I used to love I cant tolerate, anything with cheese in it hurts my stomach as well as pizza sauce, I stick mainly now to tuna fish and chicken only. My coworkers call me skinny now which is amazing, I look forward to getting down to 160, I have had two stalls since surgery but I know that as long as I am getting in my protein I am doing well. I look forward to reading your updates.

I agree with mentalistfan when you go for your first seminar they are explaining what type of procedures that are out there and there program requirements they take down your name and insurance information to ensure that your insurance covers the procedure before you proceed that way you will not be wasting your time .Good luck .

I know after my surgury I never wanted to see sugarfree pudding , soup, jello and broth again. I'm 5'5" , 370# which surgery?
Hi personally I would say the bypass because I think you will have a better chance at loosing all the weight you want. You don't mentioned any cormobilities , or history of acid reflex . I started off at 332 pounds and I am down 57 pounds at 8 weeks. Discuss with your surgeon and see what their recommendation is and research both hood luck my friend .

Social Life - Need Help from Veterans!
I agree with the above statements you do not owe anyone an explanation I think your overthinking this just be you, you do. It have to drink alcohol everytime you eat to have a good time, and just because you take your time eating just means your enjoying your food and making healthy and wise choices good luck.
