I am just looking into doctors now, just joined this sight today. I am divorced, both parents are gone, and basically looking at doing this all on my own too. I am kind of afraid to travel to a foreign country by myself, but it is the only way I can afford surgery. I am thinking about either Aceves, Illan, Kelly or Ortiz. Right now, Illan seems like the one closest to my price range, but I want to learn more about him and all the other doctors before I make a final choice. I just want to make sure their hospitals are in a safe place too, and that if I need to go out, they will have someone that can help me.

Hi all, I have been lurking here for several months and finally decided to join. I am still not sure which doctor I am going to use, but as my insurance won't cover surgery, I will be self-pay in Mexico. I am looking at a couple of different doctors, Aceves, Illan, Kelly and Ortiz. I am so confused as to who to go with, so am hoping I can get some good info here. I got divorced from my high school sweetheart after he decided he would rather be with his co-worker than me. It pretty much devastated me, especially coming shortly after losing my parents within a matter of months. While I have always been overweight, this just drove me into a complete binge and now I weigh almost 300 pounds, gosh, it really hurts to say that out loud, but I guess it is okay here? I have tried several diets, but I know I can't do it without the additional help this tool. So, I guess you guys will be seeing more of me around here and i hope you can offer me some advice on docs or how to choose the best one.
