RJ - it's impossible for us to be morons. We have more than two brain cells to rub together!

Linda and Teachamy - Love you both, too!

Pink Dahlia - That made me chuckle! :)

I think the morons to which you refer do have 2 brain cells. Their 2 cells are just fighting against each other.

  2. I'll address questions that are relevant to me. Questions in relation to Mxtransformed? You'll have to address to her.
  3. I assume this wasn't directed at me but if it was, I'm not attempting debate. I just want to see what you are seeing on the FB page. As above, Heather. Not to you... What was for you, was addressed to you...
  4. Heather, read the comments.. if they haven't already been deleted. You're on the right page, you just have to delve a bit deeper than just looking at the photos. Expect from this point, the page to be cleared... It seriously wouldn't surprise me.
  5. You can try as much as you like, love. You're gonna have to get up bloody early in the morning to have a crack at me. Be warned. I'm off to bed now. Which, on balance, is infinitely better than entertaining a breathtakingly dull 'debate' (which would not, actually, be a debate), with you. Have fun trying to pick an argument with yourself, you sad, sad, lady... if you're a lady TTFN x
  6. And you two aren't already acquainted and tied in your 'mission', are you?! Come on 'girls'... Your transparency is a bit obvious....
  7. Read the comments, honey, you'll soon establish that his eternally young looking lady.. is actually his wife.... Which screams the question...Why would he fall over the side, when his wife is so gorgeous and has given him 3 beautiful kids? I am without answers for that...
  8. Neither am I... I'm just inquisitive.. or is that nosey?!
  9. skullcandy ... do you mean that until early 2014 Omar was fine in terms of his legal status? Or something different? And, out of curiosity, does anyone actually know if Omar is married with children - or not? Some of Dr. Illan's patients think he's married, others don't. Ann, his wife and 3 kids are all over his facebook page.... Ergo my prior comment about how badly I feel for THEM.... Shocking behaviour.. for his wife.. and his beautiful children. What an example to be shown...

And rightly so, Sista. Love you to pieces. (Oh and btw, my Floridian man says that's only right and proper. Hallelujah!') From a Brit birds perspective - he likes to eat 'Gator. He has requested that you send him some! Muhahahaha! No, please do, it might shut him up!!!! xx
  12. Okay, I'm just going to say it as it is... Dudes... and by that I mean those that are the fundamentalist supporters? You're all Morons... No, seriously, you are. If you cannot grasp the basic tenets of what has been said.... and really absorb, understand and answer all the charges laid (which were not against you, initially), then frankly, I'm back to the 'moron' comparison. You make me want to bash my head against a wall, because whether or not you realise it? You're behaving like a gaggle of witches. What I'd like to know, is what, exactly, has this man got on you? Naked photos? Film footage? I cannot believe that rationally minded human beings would behave this way - unless, the accused, has something that would blow your lives apart..... Wanna have a chat about that?

I'll call malarkey on this. Living proof right here. Thank God LipstickLady! I read that post and said Noooooooooo! I hate to give up my wine! It is my source of fun. HELL TO THE WHAT?!!! Only kidding. I'm an alcoholic (kidding-ish). For as low a BMI as I was to start, with PCOS, I've still shifted more than was expected of me... ................. Despite the grotesque alcohol consumption Just be happy! I am!

    No sex drive

Give it a few months (sorry boys, I know I'm female, but I think it's dually relevant).. Hang in there, baby-girl. Give him till the full foods get in and he's more at ease with what he's eating/drinking...and it will ALL IMPROVE! Promise you x
  15. Dear Lord, is she still at it? Move on, honey. You got your ass handed to you the last time I, and Susan, responded. You have nothing more to add here other than the tired old rhetoric to which everyone has become accustomed and thoroughly bored. Bring your 'big guns' - we're all still waiting for the 'proof' that you think you're so capable, but not capable, of 'willingly' (said with a sardonic smirk) providing. *yawn*
  16. Ha! Are you serious? This has, on balance, little to do with Dr. Illan, and more to do with his assistant. Which, if you had read the thread from its inception, you would have understood. Is this an attack as a form of self defence?! You 'lot' make me laugh... (and that's incredulously, if you haven't got the wherewithal to work it out ) Move on, chickadee... You're boring us with your non-enlightening prose....
  17. May you all (and by 'all', I mean the Cabal of individuals who would seem to be 'fundamentalists' when it comes to the Baja clinic and their coordinating staff), be THOROUGHLY ashamed of yourselves. You leave me agog at your actions. If anyone needs any legal counsel as to potential options (albeit I'm not American, don't specialise in the laws of the internet (but have friends that do) and am not state-specific - although it wouldn't take me long to work out your statutes and the laws of the internet are fairly transnational anyway), I would be happy to provide any help or assistance I can. US Citizen? Whitney? Wow.. tread carefully now.. I do believe you have found the line and stepped WAY over it.

I'm fully 'in the closet'. I don't care, either. Aint no ones business but mine. That being said, I had my Mum over, 8 or so weeks out from surgery. I still ate a roast chicken dinner which I'd prepared in front of her. Just fannied around with the food on my plate and feigned being overly full. I think she was thrown more off the scent by my being able to consume a pint of Guinness. She'dve surely known (being an inquisitive ex nurse) something was wrong if whilst in the boozer, I'd not consumed my usual vessel of black gold! I think you'll be fine. Just order a smaller portion, fanny about with it on your plate. Say you're on antibiotics and if anyone presses any further? Say you've had concerning levels of gastric reflux and your doctors are saying you have to be really careful how much you eat and the regularity with which you eat. That, in itself, would put most people off from suggesting restaurants where the food is exceptionally rich or creamy. It would also then be acceptable for you to order a starter and be good with it. I use this all the time. I have already had my gallbladder out - but for those who don't know? That's the reason I give - but rarely have I had to deploy that excuse. I just order a main, eat the bits I want (the protein and a bit of salad/veg) and discard the rest. I rarely drink wine any more (gives me awful reflux), so if I drink alcohol now, it's generally well before I eat or well after. Don't put life on hold. Go out and enjoy it!

    Judgement issues over low BMI

I am so very sorry for your loss. As for the 'judgement'? You'll get (or shouldn't get) any judgement from anyone on here! You recognised an issue, you made an executive decision to sort it, you have sorted it and now you're in a much better position, physically, to look after the kids you have brought into your home to love and care for. I would turn off your 'paranoia' switch- because frankly - you, my love, have nothing to reproach yourself for. You're a legend

    36 days postop cravings!

I live off salad (10 months out). I have a lump of meat and salad every day. Raw carrots, sweetcorn, beetroot, onions, lettuce, rocket. You name it, I eat it. I guess it's a case of seeing what works for you, as McButterpants said, and slowly increase your list of 'okay' foods I personally couldn't see much wrong with the raw fish portion of the sushi requirement. However, the rice and the wasabi might come back and bite you on the bum a bit. Sadly it's all trial and error so early out. Whatever you do, just listen to your body and it shouldn't put you far wrong. Good luck!
  21. My guess (and it's just a guess, which absolutely needs a doctor to explore for a definite diagnosis) When you don't go for a 'number 2' for a while, the food you eat kind of 'backs up' in your intestines. I found that if my 'motility' was slow, this exacerbated my reflux - no end. I got the burning in the middle of the back, too. As a starter for 10, I would try and get your bowels moving. Take whatever you have to get them emptied. Potentially take your foot off the pedal with regards to trying to eat 'normal' food. What you're describing, to me, sounds like what happens when I get the slimes, or eat too much of a heavy Protein or have something that is high in fat or high in sugar. Perhaps choose things that are really light and easily digested for a while? Take your PPI regularly. Perhaps up the dose a bit? As stated, you absolutely need to go to your doctor to get a check up- but in the interim and as long as you're not running a high temperature; keep your Fluid levels high, take it easy on yourself and see how you feel. All the best,
  22. Your post is confusing. I have no idea who you are or what you said in your post that you feel is going to cause you to "get hammered at". Care to elaborate? Perhaps because it was stated that on their first time visit, Omar was 'awesome'? Although I don't find that, in itself, reason enough to fear getting 'hammered'...

    General questions 6 mths out

I am 10 months out. 1. Protein - My intake varies on a daily basis. Its dependent on where I am, what I'm doing, etc. etc. I don't do protein shakes either, but on average, I hit the 50grms per day. 2. Reflux - Sadly, I was one of the unlucky few that got reflux after the operation. I take 20mg of Omeprazole, pretty much every morning. Couldn't be without it. Apparently I should try and stop the omeprazole, work through the reflux rebound and see if it will settle. Sadly, however, I don't fancy going through that particularly horrendous pain barrier. Maybe I'll give it a go when I'm further out. 3. Hairloss - Yep, mine fell out. Not all of it, but a lot. Started in month 3, abated at the 7 month mark. This was largely due (I believe), to my increasing my Iron and red meat intake. I was advised to do this by my doctor and as soon as I did - things improved greatly. 4. Morning - I have never been a morning person. Things haven't changed! What I will say, however, is that my 'appetite' does not kick in until late morning.. And picks up significantly in the late afternoon/evening. Not ideal, but it is what it is...
  24. Your hypocrisy actually makes me want to vomit (and trust me, since I've gotten myself a much smaller stomach, I don't like to do that). 'Most have been glossed over' - yes, by you, they have! You will attack the charges laid by others, but you completely gloss over mine - insisting that you demand answers for questions which are frankly, non-sensical (you would understand that, if you'd actually paid any attention to the actual content of this thread) Dude, do us all a favour. Don't ask for responses to questions, like you have the right to demand them, without first accounting for your own assertions and behaviour. 'so I'm going to ask them again' - I'm still asking, and all I'm getting is tumbleweed! 'and I'll keep asking them' - Yes, so will I! 'There should be no problem addressing them, because unlike the barrage directed at me, these questions do not sink to the level of insult and false accusation' - HAHAHAHA, you make me laugh. You make me laugh more than I have chortled on this site for the longest time! Smell any hypocrisy in that statement? Yes? No? <carries on chuckling> ' I'll cut and paste them again now so that you don't have to go find them.' - HA! But you couldn't do that for me, hey? I would like you to substantiate the assertions you made about the reports of misconduct being fabricated and sounding 'oh so similar' to previous reports about other doctors' misconduct... Until you do that? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> There's the freekin' door. Oh, and don't think I'd be one of those 'gals' that you think you can intimidate through bandying about spurious claims to being ex LE or even a teacher. Some of us here are well educated enough and well versed in taking people like you to task. Call it a quid pro quo... So... until you answer the request I made for you to substantiate your assertions (seeing as you think you're impervious to being held accountable to the same standards). Move on chickadee, you're filling up my visual space with utter bollocks.
