  1. I'm in my first stall since surgery (12/30/2013) HW 197 SW 186 CW 157 Hopefully I will get big numbers this week because I've been busting my butt running!!!! I've got 50 lbs to lose I had to add that I've been on (TOM/FLO) lol... It makes sense now why I was in a stall and up and Down all week!!!
  2. Call or go to weight watchers office and request your file and weigh ins or your contract with them. You will need this for insurance purposes for attempt at Weightloss and your weight for the past few years. Good luck

  5. Oh it definitely can happen. Don't limit yourself on how much you can lose as long as you work the program, guidelines, protein and exercise. I'm 2 months out today and down 40 lbs. I'm 5'1 started at 197 and I'm now 157. But My lowest weight is 136. So I'm looking forward to my goal being around 100-110 lbs. think big and you lose big

  11. Hey Curvy girl... Welcome to the group!! I know how you felt about waiting but don't be scared. I don't regret my sleeve at all and I would make the same choice all over again. However, I am 4 weeks post op and the process is very slow. Not necessarily the Weightloss (which is great) but trying to eat is a process. I am 5'1 HW 197 CW 168 and I am one month out tomorrow. Every persons body is different an will react to the surgery differently but I get sick easily. Again enjoy the ride to March and eat what you like bc come March it's gonna be over for a few months!!! Good luck
  12. Hi blessed. I'm hanging in there but a little frustrated. I'm hungry, I've been walking 2 miles a day on treadmill and trying to push the envelope a little. Tired of isopure protein drink and not getting satisfied from broth. I'm supposed to be eating creamed drained soups but that sound awful so I keep going back to broth. My husband also had the surgery 2 1/2 weeks before me but you know he's a man and he does his own thing! Any suggestions. Don't want to complain. Bc I don't have a tremendous amount to lose I feel unsure how to talk about this. I'm 5'1 CW 179. Thanks for asking!!! How are you doing
  13. Congratulations joysdelight... It is definitely something to be excited about
  14. Thanks for the advice. I have been walking because if your suppose to walk walk walk in the hospital why not continue it at home. My stomach has been swollen so I thought walking could help it go down for gas purposes. I lose a lb a day and I'm not sure if that's normal.
  15. I've been walking 2 miles a day on the treadmill 3 x a week and I'm 9 days post op. Does exercising this early help or hurt my Weightloss. I feel more hungry in the evenings. I have heard people's stories where they lost all their weight without exercise. Just wondering if I should work out?
  16. congratulations i know you gotta be on cloud 9

  21. First appeal was denied due to missing information (proof of failed diets and nutritional evaluation was negative) 2nd appeal customer service representative said they didn't receive psychological info . Waisted an appeal re sending that document. Then my provider scheduled peer to peer review with medical director and they explained that I was missing the information and to resubmit. However when provider resubmitted BCBS Fed said all appeals had been exhausted and BCBS Fed and they never looked at new information. I wrote the appeal letter and was approved within a week

  23. My surgery went well. My body didn't adjust to the anastecia so I stopped breathing. They had to bring me back to life and lower my medicine!!! All in all I had a lot nausea at first but they let me go home yesterday. The only complaint I have now is that my stomach is swollen and I look like I'm pregnant! Is anyone else experiencing this?
