4 months and 1 day
Hey yummy mummy... I eat everything now, except for sugar, and my body hates a lot of fried food. I do eat baked salmon, baked tilapia, chicken (fried, baked, grilled) just very small amounts. I don't indulge in any deserts however I might have a piece a chocolate every once in awhile. I do exercise 6-7 days a week for at least 30-45 minutes. Sometimes two a days. I jog on treadmill at home,, go to the gym and use elliptical or bicycle. But at 1 month out I walked on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes and did 2 miles a day. I gradually worked myself up to a jog after my body said it was ok. Listen to your body and if you don't have a treadmill start walking outside on a trail or in the park. I went from a size tight16- loose 6... I'm here to help in any way

4 months and 1 day
Thank you for your kind words... I post this success story bc I too had doubts, worries and needed some guidance. This forum has given me support and I just want to give back for some thinking about this journey or who are struggling on this journey. I would choose to do this surgery in a heartbeat if you asked me would I do it again. My husband and I both did it and he has lost over 70lbs and has reached goal.

December 2013 Sleever Pounds Lost Log
Yea I'm 5'2 however I work the sleeve the sleeve doesn't work me!!! When I got the sleeve I did my research and decided I was going to use this tool to my advantage. I got it as early as possible so that my insurance could pay for it instead of really letting my weight get out of hand. The sleeve keeps me from eating so much in one sitting however I have set goals and I stick to them. I've always been discipline to exercise so that's why I've lost so fast... And also I'm turning 35 2 weeks from today and I wanted to look my best for my bday

Working out
Great job!!! I am 3 months 12 days out and I have lost 54 lbs and I now weigh 143 lbs. I worked out the day after I got out of the hospital by walking 2 miles 3-4 times a week on treadmill. Then I started increasing after a month an started jogging slowly and now I run as well as go to the gym 3 times a week for spin cycle, elliptical. You will lose a lit but slower working out but you are gaining muscle so that's more important than being skinny fat!!! Stay encouraged... I have P90x, Brazilian butt lift and Shaun Ts ab workout that I will start using to incorporate my last few lbs. again I'm only 3 months out, the sky's the limit for me. Good luck

Thinking of Quitting- I'm overwhelmed
Hey I cheated several times and had a small plate of food for Christmas dinner and was still sleeved three days later. It's not worth going through the process again so do your best and show up surgery day with your big panties on and don't look back. The worst your surgeon can do is tell you no try again. Don't go in on surgery day like your trying to confess your sins either (lol) Keep your head up and don't sweat the cheating. You will be just fine!!! I'm 3 months out 54 lbs down and I weigh 143lbs. Hope this motivates you

First 2 weeks of liquid?!?
Hang in there. This phase sucks and nobody can tell you any different. There's not gonna be anything that you like at this point! Just know that there's light at the end of the tunnel in a few more weeks. I watched food network to get passed this phase and dreamt of recipes that I was going to try once I got past 5 weeks. Find something to distract you while you close your eyes and down those protein shakes down. It's a breeze after that!!!! I'm 3 months out and down 50lbs... It's been worth it and I wouldn't change this process for anything

Scars
I'm using Maderma but it's so darn expensive for such a little tube the scars will never fade without breaking the bank

3 month anniversary 47 lbs gone forever
I was scared at the idea as well but everyone I know that goes through this process at the end of their year ends up losing 100 lbs. If I lost 100 lbs I would be 97lbs. I don't want to be that size but I won't have a choice in the matter and with me being already small to begin with I could stop now and be happy. However I'm only month 3 and 2 days lol. I'm already grateful that my sleeve has worked with me and from here on out its a bonus. If you pm I will send you the challenges via email or here is my email address if anyone wants me to send them to you! Candacebwalker@yahoo.com I eat everything like I did before even fried food. I don't eat much of it and I don't eat out that much. If I do it's subway and I eat a 6 inch and it literally takes me all day to finish it... Maybe 8-10 hours but I won't eat anything else
