    We def have opposite opinions on this one... That is my size... And all I can keep saying is I hope I don't lose my Boobs! I wanna lose everywhere else... But not there. LOL

    And I do have back aches and things I'm sure bcuz of "ThaGirls" but I jus do NOT wanna part from them :)

    Good luck on losin yours tho... Pray I don't lose mine. LOL

I am going with Dr. Eagon in St.Louis, Mo so every appointment I went to was there and I live in Illinois, so I drove an hour to get to them. ugh, last one should be to meet with Dr, Eagon and set up a date ( I hope) and just wait for approval!!     Hey... I jus done the scope with my surgeon today! Everything is approved and Surgery date is 9-11

    Super Excited! My PreOp diet started today... Jus now going home so day 1 has been Great! :)

    I start my pre-op liquid diet tomorrow. My date is 9/11. My question is what about fiber? I know you can get what you need from protein' date=' fluids and a vitamins...but a diet without fiber can't be good for your system. Can you take fiber supplements post-op VSG surgery?[/quote']

    Hey I'm right there with ya... My 2 week clear liquid diet starts 2morrow tooo. And my Big Day is also 9-11! I'm also having my scope 2morrow! Good luck to you! :)

    My dr. Is very strict ... I start my 2 week liquid diet 8-28

    Clear Liquids only

    sugar free Jello, Popsicle, koolaid,

    Power aid Zero

    Sugarfree coffee, or tea

    Strained chicken or beef broth

    And 2-3 advant edge protien shakes

    At least 8-12 glasses of Water a day

    I've been told after the first day it will get easier... I hope it is smooth :)

    I am noticing that everyone talks about a pre-surgery liquid diet of varying lengths of time. My doctor has me on just three days of a liver shrinking diet right before surgery, and even that is not all liquid. It is Protein Shakes for two meals, two small Protein Snacks, and one meal of 6 oz. lean fish or chicken plus salad with fat free vinaigrette . I sure wonder why there is so much variation. Other than this three day regimen, I am supposed to be practicing eating slowly, chewing forever, giving up carbonated beverages, cutting back on portions and fats and processed foods and not eating sweets. And getting some exercise. That's it.

    I'm not sure about that either... My surgeon is very strict. It's actually a 2 week clear liquid diet... Only sugar free clear liquids... And 2-3 Advatage Protein shakes a day only! He went as far as saying that if the liver didn't shrink Enuff he would close the incisions and do it at a later date after it did shrink,.

    I need Prayers folks :)

    I'm a lil scared about the scope. I go Tuesday to set the appt. I have heard horror stories. I know all of my Dr''s have cleared me for the Sleeve but I'm wondering if they find something that they shouldn't would they stop surgery? I guess I don't wanna know I've come this far for them to cancel it.

    Anyone know of a reason why? Anyone know?

    I know I have reflux and I have a small hernia I think..

    I'm glad you asked this question.. I go Tuesday to set my appt. for the scope... I think im more nervous about the scope than the Sleeve. LOL

    Does anyone know after the scope if they find something will they still do your surgery. I think I have a small hernia, I know I have acid reflux... Jus wondering if there's a reason they won't do it ?? I would hate to know I've come this far and then tell me I'm sorry we found this or that and we can't do your Sleeve! Yikes!
