  1. Try nuts. Almonds and dried edamame are daily staples in my diet. I also drink Kefir yogurt p. it has lots of protein.
  2. Thanks for sharing. What a great way to record your progress.
  3. Everyone's experience is different. I went back after a week, but I work a desk job. I had to move very slowly, and still had a bit of pain in the evenings.
  4. I am 3 weeks post op too. I start my day with water so that I can get 8 oz in first thing. Then I move to Greek yogurt for the protein. Takes me about 20 minutes to eat one container. Try thinning out the protein shake with more water and sip on it for 30 minutes. That should give you more liquids and reduce that stuffed feeling.
  5. Also remember, a part of what so many of us have to relearn is to take a bit and walk away. I watch my young daughter when she eats, she eats what she wants and then decides when she is full. I am always amazed that she did not have the desire to clean her plate. So I remind myself of the same things, I don't have to clean my plate, I don't have to go back, the one bite was enough,.
  6. Hi I'm 6 days out and havering the same issues. My diet is clear liquids for 5 days and then full liquids. I too have having a hard time getting liquids down. Movement has helped with the gas. I walk around the house
  7. Greeting everyone. I am 2 days post-op. so far things are well.
  8. Thank you for the comment. I am having the same butterflys as others. Part of me is in denial that the surgery is tomorrow.
  9. Good luck. Started today too
