I am on the liquid preop diet. I just started my fit pal but my intake is something like this:
4 Protein shakes with un sweetened Almond Milk
2-4 sugar free Jello
1 sugar free Popsicle
At least 80-100 ounces of Water
I should mention that I am on day 5 of my 14 day preop, I will be sleeved on July 31st.

No' date=' I also did some Isopure, unflavored Protein powder mixed in clears, Jello, etc. but the broth tasted most like real food.[/quote']I was told on the full liquids that I could do stuff like thinned out Soups and yogurt as well... Thanks for responding, I am 10 days till surgery and so excited. Really inspired by everyone on this site.. Thanks

What I have discovered is that everything is sweet. The shakes' date=' sugar free Popsicles even the liquid pain killer. Sweet, sweet, sweet. I was so happy to have cream of chicken Soup. I couldn't eat much that is for sure but it was just so nice to have something other than sweet. I am ordering the unjury chicken soup Monday.[/quote']Is the Unjury chicken soup broth? I am struggling with variety now because I can't stomach broth!?!?

I am still on my pre op 2 week liquid diet and have 10 days to go. However I like to plan ahead and I want to have everything ready for when I return home. I have 2 days of clear liquid (day of surgery and day after) then days 3-15 are "full liquid". Any suggestions for full liquid. These shakes aren't wonderful but it's definitely mind over matter
Thanks for the help!!!

Thanks twinzrule. I also have twins but they are 3. My husband and I both work full time and the girls are at a full time church pre school. So during the week while I am recovering they will be at school. I am glad to hear the pain wasn't near the c section. Thanks again.

I am having my VSG on July 31st. I feel like I have a pretty high pain tolerance level. However I am curious to know what the pain after surgery was like for everyone else? I have had 2 c-sections and wanted to try and compare to that. Thanks!!!
12 days to go...

Thanks my postoperative diet is 2 days clear liquids then days 3-15 full liquid. Days 16-30 puréed foods and transition to soft then normal food.< /p>

My date is July 31st and I am so ready. The pre op diet is tough but I think my mind set is, Lets do this! I have a very supportive husband and 3 kids that don't really know what is going on!!! I am so excited, I can hardly wait!!! I am a little nervous of being off work for 13 days then getting thrown back in, in the swing of things!

I have my surgery scheduled for July 31st. I am currently on day 3 of my 2 week liquid pre op diet. I am taking in 100 ounces of Water, 4 Protein Shakes a day and about 3 sugar free jellos. I don't like broth so that is out of the question. Any other ideas for something I can have? I am in countdown mode but so hungry, will this feeling ever go away?

I am going to purchase unflavored Protein Powder. You could try getting some and putting in yogurt?
