Sleeve Sisters-What is your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge is nausea. I am so nauseous all the time its ridiculous and the meds dont seem to help.
  2. Very inspiring ladies! Thank you. I myself was diagnosed with PCOS in 2009 yet the symptoms have always been around. It kinda bothered me bc I had self diagnosed myself in my early teens as I aspire to become a physician, and healthcare fascinates me. Nevertheless I have been married almost 7 years and we have not been preventing the entire time. In 2009 is when I talked to my PCP and asked for a referral bc of irregular menses and whatnot. I have tried several different drugs and two different RE as my husband is in the military and we move quite frequently in addition to deployments. Initially my sole purpose of being sleeved was to become a mother. I was obese but I had no other right out health issues. I know that doesn't mean I wouldn't develop any but I'm just letting you know where I was... say 3 years ago when I first attempted to be sleeved. I was unable to be sleeved back then bc my husband was deployed and I had no family support. Now three years later here I am sleeved and looking forward to a full recovery as my sleeving process has been challenging these last 8 weeks. I had pretty much given up on getting pregnant and was just tired of being fat.... tired of the up and down lose 35lbs gain 50 back....

    Severe Nausea

I'm 8 weeks out today and having these same issues... I am constantly vomitting bile. I have returned to liquids and yet I am throwing up at least once a day... I take Zofran as well as nexium to reduce the acid, and I have tried the patch but problem is I'm still vomiting while taking all these medications. I have been rehospitalized twice with two separate EGD's done to try and figure out what's going on. All I keep hearing is the anatomy looks great.... sigh... this is making life very difficult for me. I'm so glad a friend of mine pointed me in this direction because everyone else keeps saying it will get better but they haven't experienced it to this severity. At one point in time I was able to eat. But about 3 weeks ago I began to be unable to tolerate anything. And I too have this thing with water... it makes me very gaseous and nauseous.... What is that about? I'm going to try the tea...
