  1. I lost one pound this week. Current weight 301.
  2. You look great. Very pretty!!!
  3. I will be finished with my 6 month diet on January 13th. So, if that's the change, it won't affect me.
  4. What type of wls did those 5-7 people have?
  5. My 6 month medically supervised diet will be complete on January 13th so my surgery should be in February. Insurance approval is supposed to take less than 30 days. I have BCBS of AL. I'm getting VSG. It can't get here soon enough.
  6. I have BCBS of AL too. I haven't heard anything about their guidelines changing for 2014. I hope they don't. I've almost met all of their requirements. What have you heard?
  7. I weigh 302 and my doctor told me to just not gain any weight before surgery.
  8. I'm pre-op so I may not be the one to answer this, but my thought is that it's okay but use good judgement. A lot of Starbucks products are filled with sugar. Try and choose a product that is much more health conscious. Just my opinion.
  9. Do you add my info to the Excel sheet, or am I supposed to?
  10. I'm pre-op but I'm trying to lose weight ahead of time. I'm in. I currently weigh 302, and my goal is 290.
  11. What are gummies? I realize they're breast implants but I've never heard of gummies.
  12. I am pre-op and plan to get a treadmill for Christmas. Can you guys tell me what kind of treadmill you have and what you like and don't like about it. I used to have a treadmill that I did not like. When I would try and run, it would stall when my lead foot landed. I guess the motor wasn't strong enough to carry me.
  13. My diabetes doctor told me that I wouldn't need any insulin after surgery.
  14. 15 so far. I have about 2 1/2 months to go before surgery. Hope to lose 25+ by surgery date.
  15. Try reading "50 Shades of Grey". Got my wife cranking. Lol
  16. "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again. This time more intelligently." ~Henry Ford
  17. "If you really want things in life to happen, you have to make them happen yourself. You can't sit around and hope that somebody will help you, you have to make your own future and not think that your destiny is just going to happen." Author unknown.
  18. I suffer from depression too. My advice would be to get some exercise if you're not already. That alone will make you feel some better. Are you on medications? If so; be sure to take them like you're supposed to. You may want to contact your doctor to get your meds adjusted. Get out of the house some. It helps. If you don't have one already; find someone that you can lean on. Sometimes we just need to feel loved. Speak positively. Say "I feel great" over and over again. Soon your brain will start to believe it. And finally, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! Do not let it get the best of you. Give it all you've got. You haven't come this far to give up now. Hang in there. You've got this!
