First 1/2 Marathon Complete! 1 Year Out

I was 1 year out this month and made it my goal to do a half marathon and run the full 21km which I achieved over the weekend. Much easier when you are down 110lbs! Very proud of myself! Pic is with my guy friend (training buddy) with our finisher medals after the race :) I am definitely not a runner so if I can do it anyone can!

    That's amazing! I just had my surgery last week and have the goal of eventually running a half marathon, but I didn't think that could be accomplished a year out...so thanks for the inspiration!
