  1. Good luck today. You'll do great. It's a breeze.
  2. Good info. I'll try the little vials and see how it goes. Thanks.
  3. I don't know. I just changed to Glucerna Protein drinks and used them. Don't worry, you'll find what is right for you. Maybe your tastes are different than mine.
  4. I'm sorry to say, but both are terrible. I couldn't handle either one. I only used a little out of each bag and I paid $50 for each bag.
  5. My endocrinologist told me to stop my insulin and janumet immediately after surgery and my diabetes remains under control. Amen.
  6. I didn't have any problems. I wasn't in pain at all. I slept most of the time.
  7. I'm not a veteran. I'm only one month post-op but my hunger never left. Kinda feel cheated on that deal.

Mine is definitely bigger. This sounds like a fib but it is a full 2" longer. And for all you skeptics out there, go look at my picture gallery. I have a before and after pic on there. Just kidding.
  9. Eye Candy is on it's way. Right now it's still sort of an eye astigmatism. LOL. I'm one month out and have lost 23 pounds so far. I expect to reach my goal weight in two to three months from now. I've got some front row tickets for the show that will go to the first lady that will post an eye candy pic for me.
  10. I set the timer on my phone for one minute. Two minutes would probably be even better.
  11. I agree. Powerade Zero or Gatorade G2's.
  12. I am one month post op and I do have hunger. It seems to be real hunger because I can tell the difference between head hunger and real hunger. Apparently I'm not one of the lucky ones who doesn't experience hunger anymore. Oh well. It hasn't slowed me down any. I've lost 23 pounds so far. The biggest problem I've had so far is over eating. I can't eat very much but my head thinks I can. I find myself putting way too much on my plate. (Just like pre-op.) I am learning to recognize the feeling of me starting to get full. If I take it slow, and only take small bites, I can manage pretty well. If I don't, and I get too full, it feels like the food has filled up my stomach as well as my lower esophagus. That is not a pleasant feeling. Several times my mouth has started watering profusely and I have had to throw up. It's interesting though, I only throw up a small amount and it seems to only be the food in my lower esophagus. It doesn't empty my stomach. Just enough that I feel better. Sorry for the TMI. Hope this helps.
  13. Hehehe. Ill take that! lol @@dreamscometrue - I believe you are referring to my, ahem, batwings... They are still, well, batty. Lol - a lovely muscle w/ skin dangling from it ... Small price to pay. I'll take this looseness over the extra lbs any day! How's the new car working out? I bet you're having fun in it.
  14. You look great. You're very pretty.
  15. You are the cutest thing I have ever seen.
  16. I would have gotten it done sooner. No kidding. I'm 26 days out and have lost 21 pounds since surgery. 21 pounds makes a huge difference. I also lost 19 pounds on the 2 week liquid diet before surgery for a total of 40 pounds. I feel great. I'm only 54 pounds away from my goal of 215 now. I predict it will take another two months or less to lose that.
  17. My surgery was on March 6th and I'm doing great. I've lost 18 lbs in 21 days. No complications to speak of.
  18. I am three weeks out and I've experienced the same pain since day one. It's not a terrible pain, just a dull, nagging pain. It hasn't gotten any worse though. Hang in there, I'm sure it will go away for both of us.
  19. My surgery was on March 6th and I started on my liquid diet on February 20th. I've lost 37 pounds since starting the liquid diet. I feel absolutely great. I can eat anything I want. The biggest problem I've had is eating too much a few times and getting sick as a result. I'd do this again 100,000 times over. Way to go CubsWin. You're doing great.
  20. Super nice car, and yes, you do look really cute standing next to it.
  21. I'm on my two week pre-op diet and I've been getting headaches.
  22. My surgery is tomorrow. I have been on a pre-op liquid diet for the past two weeks. From what I've read, it is very normal.
