  1. Deez, you'll be back to losing in no time! I'm glad to hear your clothes are looser...that's an awesome NSV
  2. Hi everyone! I'm getting all of your weigh ins down! Keep those numbers coming. It's been a busy week so I haven't had a lot of opportunity to respond on the forum, but it AM getting these posts and marking your pounds lost! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
  3. My stall lasted about 12 days (I think), then lost a little bit, then stalled for a few days. I read someone on other forum who was on day 20 of their stall. Try to remember you can't fail with this tool...keep doing the right things and eventually the scale will move again. Also, I am doing a challenge to stay off the scale this entire weekend. No weighing in today or tomorrow. I think the everyday weighing is just doing me in.
  4. My surgeon told me to stay off the scale for a bit, because of the fluids and gas they pump you up with. No worries...it will happen for you soon.
  5. I know what you mean Tami...I had Rx Naproxyn especially for the cramps...can't take that anymore...tried Tylenol, but that didn't seem to even touch the pain. Grrrr.
  6. I was sleeved on December 11, 2013, and have only had one period since..about 2 weeks later....it was extremely heavy, and more painful than normal. I am hoping it's just the hormonal changes we are going through...
  7. Did your doc give you a weight loss goal pre-op? Hopefully, given your situation, there shouldn't be a problem for your approval.
  8. I was sleeved December 11, 2013. The surgeon said it was textbook (I followed the rules to a T), and there have been some panicky moments I the month following, but I know that I made the absolute best decision for myself. I'm down 44 pounds from when I started the process, and am well on my way to goal. Best wishes to you on your journey!
  9. Congratulations to you! Get ready for some big changes!! Best wishes to you.
  10. Yep...she's right, just watch the sodium.
  11. I was told no caffeine because of the tummy irritant and it's dehydration effects. I stopped drinking caffeine loooong before I even thought about surgery...I have a Keurig machine, and they have really good tasting decaf coffee k-cups.
  12. I too stopped weighing every day. There are just too many things that can cause the changes...sodium, water, etc. I was driving myself crazy seeing it go up and down..so I am at every three or four days.
  13. Thanks Fred Rogers...I haven't had you down on the list, so I don't know how many pounds your goal pounds lost are. Could you please let me know how many pounds you hope to lose from your highest. Thanks a bunch!
  14. Alrighty folks....ready for some numbers? So, I adjusted the goal weight pounds because we have about 22 people who haven't ever logged their weight, so I moved them to a different list, and if they come back and start weighing in, I will add them back to the totals. Currently our total pounds lost GOAL is: 8871 As of this week, we have 71 people reporting (at some time), and have a grand total of 2449.7 pounds lost. We at about 28% of goal! Congratulations everyone! Keep up the good work!
  15. Okay folks....last call for weekly weigh in numbers. I'll be posting the weekly numbers in a few hours, and want to be sure everyone has had the chance to post for this week!
  16. Hi Lainey, I tried to search for you on MFP by your email address and it doesn't bring back any results.
  17. In regards to that dreaded stall...at exactly 3 weeks I entered the stall...it finally broke 11 days later. I have read that it can last from just a few days , and I have read someone who is on day 20 and still stalled. Despite the fact it is frustrating, just know that it WILL end and you will see that scale move!
  18. Hi Tami...I definitely need HW...because I go in and subtract to get my total.. I have been doing the totals based on your HW...so SW would be the one I don't have to have.
  19. I sent you a friend request Best.
  20. I am Maddiewin1 on MFP. Would love to have more MFP pals.
  21. Keep those numbers coming friends....it's going to be a great total this week (just like every week)
  22. Finally after the 11th day of my stall, I seem to be losing again. HW: 280.3 SW: 257.6 CW: 238.3
