Just keep Protein up, calories/carbs low, drink your Water and exercise. It will come off track your food and exercise on MFP or similar app. -

no complications at all. I just go to my PCP for bloodwork and that's it. good luck! -

I eat Protein first & lots of Water. Premier Protein shakes and Quest bars are my best friends :-) -

Great news! So glad you had a great experience. I would go back over and over again to Dr. Illan. He is such a talented surgeon and his team is totally awesome! Thank you Baja Bariatrics for taking such good care of my friend! ((hugs)) Sherry in VA -
This is just what I did but it gives you an idea. I tipped the coordinator $100.00, drivers $5.00 each way, didn't tip nurses but maybe I should have but didn't, bags I tipped $2 per bag and if they brought me something. Take small bills when shopping and when you leave Mexico at the boarder people will be asking for money and selling items. I had a lot of change in my purse so I did give them the change because that part was a little sad. You will have an amazing vacation on top of surgery. Crazy to believe but true! Can't wait to read about your journey on here when you get back!!! Sherry

I knew I was overweight but WOW why didn't/couldn't I have done anything. You get so closed that you give up! Thank God that I woke up and found Baja Bariatrics and Dr. Illan and Omar. My family and new family have been a wonder support team!!! -

I was sleeved in Mexico by Dr. Illan on 8.31.13 in Tijuana MX. I would not trade my experience for anything. Dr. Illan is a very talented surgeon with Baja Bariatrics and his team is amazing! His coordinator Omar is there to help you every step of the way and afterwards. I started out at 326 lbs, 301 day of surgery and currently 287 This tool has saved my life and I'm not sure where I would be if Dr. Illan and his team hadn't given me this tool/gift. The hospital was very nice and the nurses were so sweet and attentive. I would not change one thing about choosing Dr. Illan or going to Mexico except to have done it sooner! This has been an amazing journey thus far and the best is yet to come! I love my sleeve!!! -
