Welcome. This site is amazing. Go to the link http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm. You can call and order sample package of 12 for $13 various flavors.
-
That's the official site. You can get a 12 sample packs. But you have to call them to request. The shipping and handling is about $13 which is a great deal. You get all those samples and you can taste which one you prefer. But keep in mind that once you have surgery your taste buds to change. If you decide to purchase the big container, then I think you would have a better deal on Amazon.com.< /p>

Wishing you a speedy recovery? We're all shocked at being an outpatient. You must be coming out of pocket. Good luck.

Hey Red, not sure if you're in therapy, but if not, maybe you should consider speaking with one. You said you're beginning to obsess over food. That's where the problem is. Everything you're eating is really not healthy at this stage. You must follow your NUT and doctor's orders. You do not want to stretch your sleeve out. Good luck

This post is so damn sad. But soooo true. My knees have been killing me more than ever. I even feel pain when I'm asleep.

Fingers crossed here too. It should take no more than 2 weeks for approval. Google your insurance and wls approval rate or call and ask but keep your name anonymous.

That's good. How about healthy choices? Making green juice? Salads? Or really small meals more frequently?

What neuropathy is for the curious:http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/147963.php
Yes' date=' I have neuropathy from chemo treatment for prostate cancer recieved in 2009. It affects my left toes and the left side of the foot and a few toes on my right foot. It is numbness more than burning. When I put on shoes it feels like the sock is bunched up or there is something in the shoe.
Amazingly, my cancer doctors acted surprised that the chemo affected me this way. I was a part of a study and didn't have to pay for the expensive toxins. It did cure my scalp psoriasis...go figure.
I was given 2 years to live. I am going on 5 now and don't plan to die soon.
The neuropathy did not affect my sleeving or the intense exercise I engaged in afterward. Most of the time I am not aware of it. Life goes on.[/quote']
Well many blessings to you. The doctors are not always correct. Thank goodness your mind and body ignored what they said. My doctors didn't give me a time frame but according to statistics I have a 30 % chance of surviving 5 years. I HAD stage 3c colon cancer. Both my brother and father passed from it. I refuse to believe I can't make it even though it's so scary at times. Any hoot I have neuropathy on both feet. Mainly tingling but my feet swell from walking or standing to long and i hate socks. I'm going this is due to my weight and not neuropathy. Thank you. And congratulations. I love stories such as yours. It gives hope.

Well neuropathy ain't no fun. Period! Unless it's a varient of gastroparesis (like from DM) I am unsure why the sleeve with have any impact one way or another (and strangely' date=' I read that the sleeve may be a good option for folks with diabetic gastroparesis!)[/quote']Thanks for the response Art. Luckily I don't have diabetes. I have heard a lot of people get cured from vsg surgery. Go figure lol. I just wanted to make sure it doesn't stop me from exercising.

So I had chemo 2 years ago and I developed neuropathy. Wondering if anyone else has this post op and if so, does it hinder you from walking?
-
Amazing. Thank you for sharing your story. There's hope for my knees to be pain free. Congratulations on your continued success.
