    Soup!

Google Low sodium low fat. Walmart has some and if you have a trader joe's by you, then they have some as well. Add plain protein to it to get your protein count in. Good luck.
  2. So if I do this and lose weight would it stop me from losing more weight post op? Im curious because now I think i can do2 shakes and 2 small meals. Had anyone had significant weight loss pre op without the 2 week liquid diet? My surgery isn't till December. My thought, I guess, is maybe I can do it on my own. Idk.

If I replace 1 meal with a protein shake pre op

I'm hoping I can get the courage to go through with. I have days where I'm up and ready to do and then those days that I'm scared. Well it seems thyroids wont be a problem then. Thank you.

    Vegetarians?

Sorry that you have regrets. This is something your doctor should have spoken with you about, being a vegetarian. Walmart has a pure Protein shake (not the yucky powder) it had 23 grams of protein. It's delicious. I prefer frosty chocolate. Also you may want to try unflavored with a veggie broth. Good luck.

    Congratulations on the new you.
  7. I came across a youtube video where there was about 10 - 12 pounds of fat removed. I think she was close to 400 pounds. I'll see if I can find it again. I know she had vsg.

    Lettuce?

I'm curious. Is this only with lettuce? Because I love to juice my greens and my fruits in my nutri bullet. Does anyone else juice post op?

    Surgery tomorrow

OMG Keke I'm so happy for you Thank God you're doing great. I hope to be that lucky when its my turn. Yes, from what I've read, the chest pain is from the small stomach pouch and the gas. Keep walking girly, it'll all come up and it helps with healing. Can't wait to hear your stats. Oh shoot, I just read about the staff. SMH you'd think with the type of surgery you've had, they would be compassionate. Maybe you should bring it to the attention of your Dr. But if you're going home tomorrow then wait till you have your follow up with him. Your dr. should know whats going on since that is a reflection on his practice since his or her patients are there.

had my two week post op...

LOL I hear a lot of sleevers use the sippy cup. I thought it would give you gas just like a straw. I'm going to have to invest in a couple. Maybe try unflavored protein in some chicken soup, just to change things up. I'm sure you're happy to be eating mashed up eggs. There are recipe posts on here. Give you some ideas. I have a few more months to go. Good luck.

    Not sure where to start..

Check groupons and living social. I was able to get a month membership which included 4 sessions with a personal trainer for $29. No obligation. So once you get your 4 sessions you should pretty much have an idea of what you need to do. I did give him a $40 tip though (10 each visit). Not required though. Good luck.
  17. Great news. Thanks for the update. Glad she's doing well. Now you can breathe

    Surgery tomorrow!

Glad you're feeling better. I hear a lot of people struggle with the protein. Maybe you can do an unflavored Protein powder and add that to the chicken broth from unjury which I think has 21 grams of protein. Stay strong and congratulations. The hard part is over.
