I have to agree this is one of the hardest. It always makes sad but better days are coming. I also want to add walking in heels without having to bring a flat pair to switch into:) -

I finally decided on Sept. 4th as my surgery date. They offered me 8/19 but I also had too much going on in late August that I pushd it back. I'm excited but very nervous:) -

Google-- Surg 00024 and it will pull up Anthem's official page explaining what their definitely of being clinically obesity is and what it takes to qualify for medical intervention. It should have all the information you need at least to start. Hope this helps. -

Anthem BCBS California here too. No six month diet, just psych eval, nut visit and clearance from PCP. First consult was 5-23. Received ins approval and signed consents already just waiting on scheduling department which should be any day now. SUPER EXCITED!! Hope to be done before 8/12 when my kids return to school. -

I was wondering if anyone has tried or currently takes protein capsules/tablets completely or to assist with their proteins requirements. Just thinking of quick ways to get it in if u get "shaked out".

Hey ladies, I live in New Orleans and Dr.Moore with Southern Surgical will be doing my surgery. I have an appt on the 11th and hopefully will get my surg date at that time. Trying to be done by the time kids return to school. -
Just wondering if anyone else is having an anxiety about the permanence of the surgery. I'm very eager for the procedure but can't seem to escape the little voice in my head reminding me that this is irreversible. I know that if I could have loss the weight unassisted then I would have long ago. Idk just wondering if I'm the only one?!?
